Why do people love shrooms?

I don't like shrooms that much, I prefer LSD a lot more. At the same time, both have the ability to sketch me out a lot, so really, I prefer Ketamine, lol.

I have read a good amount of trip reports before, people talk about flashbacks to their child hood; and really intimate issues. I understand that it can be a powerful tool to explore one's inner self for both spiritual and personal issues.

Shrooms are the only psychedelic that I find boring, yes I laughed and had a good time...I guess I phrased it incorrectly.

I have certainly wondered why they are so popular as well but not because I found them boring. From my limited experience they are incredibly introspective.

Damien phrased it better, I just don't understand why they are so popular.

The self realization I had was nothing of real value, I completely embraced shrooms and let it immerse my self; never once did I try to resist the drug. It was a trip, just not life changing.

I dont know if this makes any sense..

But I did see some crazy shit...the tornados and stuff were not a joke. I was scared.

I think when the OP uses the word "bored" they just mean "not fun". I think they are saying it had it's highlights but overall the whole experience wasn't fun. Not everybody likes to go into something looking for a good time and end up with an unexpected hyper journey of self discovery. Not to put words in your mouth Onoe, but this is just what I am getting off of you.

If it makes you feel any better, my freinds and I hate shrooms.

But that's from using them way to much because we did LOVE them.

you must have a very entertaining life if mushrooms are boring for you.
:D

agree, I think he means that they are not euphoric like a chemical such as MDMA. Thats OK. Tryptamine hallucinogens are not for everybody...not to sound melodramatic...but some people cannot handle the power.

Well I WANTED to go this spring, but I'm waiting till I have a couple guides to take me on a mushroom safari with em

I find easier when I go alone. I can stay as long as I want, and I'm way more observant.

I bet you can...but I have attempted hunts a few times on my own and all the fields I went to were always empty...so I'm just assuming I don't know what cow fields are good cow fields. The people I'll be going with in fall have been very succesful though

Yea, I guess. Last time I went pick some I got chased by a bull. That was a little depressing to say the least.

haha, I've had cows stampede back in forth in front of me before, but been lucky enough to avoid bulls

Damn, this has gotten off topic.

I like mushrooms because theyre like little morsels of god and some of them return cow feces to the plants.
