who's been sentence or arrested for a drug offence?

You have 10k posts on a harm reduction forum, great right... So you just got all of your knowledge from not ever taking anything non prescribed, and then only in doses prescribed by the doctor. Sure thing I bet.

Possession is a crime too. Ever done 63 in a 60 zone? Criminal!

Fuck this bias, The media get everything wrong... There was one article stating I was driving a stolen nissan coupe... I own a fucking nissan coupe. Unfortunately that bias and misinformation seems to cloud some peoples minds.

Walk your way over to the American forums and start calling them criminals. Plenty of people gone to jail over there for possession and ended up with 1+ years.

In over 20 years of holding a drivers licence I have never even received so much as a parking ticket. I definitely haven't ever pulled a knife on someone, or stolen their car or decided it was a good idea to race that stolen car through the streets and smash it into other innocent cunt's parked cars. Nothing smart or legendary about that. You can't bitch and moan about police treatment when you caused your own downfall. Buy the ticket, take the ride. Do the crime, serve the time. I'm guessing it wasn't the first time you have been in trouble with the law. Do you honestly believe this is an acceptable way to behave in society?

Were you on drugs during your adventure? If so, fuck you. You are the reason we have trouble convincing Joe Public to decriminalise drugs. Ditto to the guy they found in the States out of his skull on RC's, eating a poor bloke alive. Bit hard to convince people there is a safe way to use recreational drugs when someone goes on a rampage high on drugs. Or is this something you do for fun sober? Either way don't drag me down to your level just because we both like to enjoy a spliff or expand our minds in our spare time.

I've never had so much as an unpaid parking ticket, speeding fine or anything, thank you very much. This IS my first offense, period.

Was I on drugs? My toxicology report says NO, I say NO. You've got no idea of the situation and I'm not at liberty to further discuss it due to legal matters. You're entitled to your opinion as is everyone, just note you do not have the full facts/circumstances both prior and current. Go ahead and be judgemental.

I never called myself fucking legendary either, I'm not fucking proud of it I was simply answering the question at hand here.

So what is the real story? You didn't pull a knife on a cop? Did you jump in their unmarked car and then drive off? Did you not hit any poor cunt's parked car? Any one of those offences is enough for me to send you to jail. Bit late to plead silence now you linked the news article. "Only my first offence"? Why should that make any difference? If you are old enough to have your licence you are old enough to know better.

It actually makes it worse that you were sober and thought it was cool to do this. If it was my car that was smashed up and I couldn't get to work the next morning I would slip the cops a clean $100 to punch you in the face for me.

Thanks psy (I agree with you 100%), I really have nothing further to add. I only posted what is public news already.

I'm not here in front of a magistrate so I have no reason to need to defend myself. I think the point of my posts is lost on busty.

Got charged with possession of speed. Only had a tiny bit left (0.043 grams, if I can remember correctly)had to go to court but got a junction 10 (I think that's what it was, it just means that I got off without a charge or fine)
The arresting officers were dicks though.
P.s everyone just calm your shit. Were all friends here, even if we don't see eye to eye all of the time

i'm not justifying his actions but he did say he was in hospital 2 days earlier for a suicide attempt. i think you'd agree that he wasn't in the best condition to judge the consequences of his actions...
he also said it was his first time in trouble with the law and everyone makes mistakes (even if this was a big one), i think you are treating him a bit harshly, especially as we don't know the full situation

Best. Picture. Ever.
Thinking about this topic my mate once got done with a joint that contained 0.06 grams of weed once (whoever rolled it should be ashamed)
They will go to great lengths to charge you if they want.

i was going to relate a story from the good 'ole days in SA when 10 hydroponic plants drew only a $150 parking ticket, but it is long and led to a change of laws.

In WA we were constantly having our doors kicked down by the Standard Issue because of anonymous phone calls about heroin dealing, which was totally untrue, just a bit of weed. For some reason they couldn't even find that in their raids. You dickheads pull the quilt off the messy bed and not the well made one!?

So in one raid a newbie pig shakes out every book in the bookcase until finally a folded up piece of paper falls out of one and they all gather around like they finally got us. They carefully open it and just find a note with WTTE "as if we would hide it here, you dickheads". That lead to guns being shown and threats of planting ounces of H on us. Fucking pigs could have raided any flat in that group at Scarborough known affectionately as "Club Veg" and found anything they wanted.

Could not even find an ounce of dope in a bedroom and took several raids before they found just one note that was planted around the place. Haven't lived in WA for a while, hope it is not the police state it used to be.

PS. Sorry Busty if i upset you but views of society are in shades of grey not black and white.

All I have ever received for drugs was a Cannabis Intervention Session. Got caught smoking in a park by police (I was a silly one when i was young). It wasn't too bad, because my counsellor was a stoner herself and was uber chill.

This thread took the biggest unexpected turn, which I really don't appreciate.
Can the mods clean this all up? I was really interested in this thread... then again, it might've been dying anyway.

Whatever... You guys take a step back and realize arguing here isn't going to achieve anything.
Take the arguement somewhere else.

When I was 17 I was busted in a deserted car park smoking bongs and drinking beers one night with some friends. The police were there for something else, all in all about 3 cop cars full of pigs plus a paddy wagon, which my friends and I were taken to the station in and then kept in a holding cell until our parents came and picked us up.

I found the cops to be utter pricks, they kept asking who bought the weed and who bought the beers, even after telling us that it would be treated as all of ours. They kept shining torches in my eyes and trying to get me to admit to ownership of the weed, basically trying their hardest to give me a hard time because I wasn't spilling my guts like they wanted. I just kept answering their questions with "I don't know".

They were so preachey and condescending, obviously wanting me to admit to everything and play their games. They even went as far as to tell the parents of my friends that I was trying to pin everything on everyone else and that my dad had been shouting, neither of which was true. That's why I now have a total distrust of the police, because I've seen first hand how they will outright lie in order to get revenge on you for not going along with their shit. I actually considered making a formal complaint over that but I decided against it because in the end it would just be my word against theirs.

In the end I just had to go to a drug diversion course (the same as everyone else) where I basically answered a bunch of questions like "how many bongs a day do you smoke" until they were satisfied that I didn't have a problem and that was it.

I'll be making a formal complaint.

Cops are still holding my wallet, bank cards etc. I had cash in my wallet they mailed out as a cheque, in my fathers name! and the investigating officers have ignored 5+ emails and 15+ phone calls, +1 legal letter.

Breach of privacy laws I believe.

what is wrong with debate? rather settle it with an arm wrestle or a game of russian roulette? or do we just agree with what your feeding us

punishment and fear will always be trumped by education, so what do we do punish the hip pocket...how many inmates get out of the can 'better' people?? reformed haha

remember stato you will walk away one day...the police and wardens are in for life haha key turning cocksuckers

People joke the screws are just failed police officers, but they are actually in some respects smarter than police are... they have to deal with prisoners daily. Most police don't arrest someone every day, isn't it usually traffic fines? lol.

I will walk away one day, I'll know my defense and how it'll be at court next week.

i always thought they were just real successful shopping centre security guards moved up in the world

haha what I'm sorry you have lost me cold there...

lol.

Just saying, I have court next week, It's that early in my defense that my lawyer hasn't even got my side of the statement. I can't wait to see what the police statements say, I guarantee the first thing they say to each other is "okay guys lets get the story straight"
