I just wanna share what I believe and think about it all……
I believe that idea of Christ Consciousness is just apart of the great deception that the bible warns us about that’s gonna happen in the end times. It’s already started happening. If you believe that god is within in you then what Jesus accomplished for you on that cross will be irrelevant to you so therefore you won’t accept the only thing that truly saves you.
I think anything that instructs or encourages you to put yourself first…all this “I Am” stuff…anything that makes you believe that you can be a god…is to deceive you.
We were created in the image of God. To believe that we shall be as gods is just replicating the same sin that started all the trouble to begin with in the beginning with Adam and Eve.
If everyone becomes their own 'god' or 'prophet,' then truth just becomes whatever each person declares it to be. At that point, there's no objective standard- just competing claims. And if there's no standard above you, then you're not actually accountable to anything outside yourself. That's not higher responsibility….it's self-justification.
And to believe that the truth is within you assumes you're a reliable source of truth. Human history and personal experience shows we're not. We rationalize, we contradict ourselves, and we're often wrong. Without a standard outside of us, there's no way to correct that. All throughout Scripture, it's clear….God alone defines truth, not us (Isaiah 43:10).
Jesus didn't lower the bar. He raised it. 'Deny yourself, take up your cross' is the opposite of self-exaltation. It demands more honesty…more responsibility and more transformation than simply declaring yourself your own authority.
God is our Father. And a good father wants his children to mature…but not to replace him as the source. Maturity doesn't mean becoming the standard of truth. It means learning to live in alignment with it.
So this idea doesn't actually free you from the maze. It just removes the only fixed point that could lead you out.
When the self becomes the highest authority, you don't transcend the system….you trap yourself inside your own perspective.
So you’re not escaping anything…you’re just replacing God with yourself…which just removes any real standard above you.
We need Jesus. He’s the only answer and the only way out.
I know that people hear Christians always saying that “God is in control”. It’s said a lot so people just simply believe it. Regardless of the circumstances….Gods in control…..
A kid gets on drugs but God is in control….
The rents not paid but God is in control….
A child is took from this world but God is in control….
That’s scary to contemplate especially now with how this world has became. Like when someone gets m*rdered…how are we suppose to take comfort in thinking that God was in control? What would that even look like? How would that even work??
Would this mean that God made the devil make them m*rder just so He could then judge them for the crimes they done that He essentially made them do??
Is that how God operates?? I think not. Imo a god like that would be very hard to have faith in. This would make Him very unjust.
But then again if God is all powerful and all knowing how can we conclude anything other than that God is in control?
Because God in His sovereignty limits His own control by playing by His own rules.
Just think about that for a moment. Let that sink in.
God has supreme rule but He also has order. In His order He upholds laws that even He doesn't break. One of those laws is free will. God gives people free will….which means our will may be contrary to His. So this also means that we can make things happen on the Earth that God doesn't agree with. If this is true then the Bible will acknowledge that God's will isn't always done because He makes room for the reality of alternative possibilities……
Bottom line. God’s allowed us to be free agents with free choices. We can’t desire freedom to choose and still hold God responsible for not preventing us from choosing evil . Either we have freedom or we do not. Either we choose or we do not. We cannot have it both ways. We cannot blame God for our evil actions when we freely chose them. We cannot excuse ourselves and accuse God when freedom was truly granted to us. We can’t have our cake and eat it too.
But this doesnt compromise God’s sovereignty or power. Gods ability is not challenged by our inability to understand Him. Theres a level of evil that we tend to lose sight of because it’s stays so hidden. Gods wrath is most certainly due. We are living in the very minutes of the last days of Noah. For the first time in over 2000 years they are now sacrificing red heifers. I think we are the generation that’s fixing to witness the coming of the Son of man in real time. Gods wrath is fixing to be poured out on this earth.
