Which is your favourite: Mario video game?

Super Mario 64 comes in a close second, but to me nothing could touch the awesomeness of Super Mario World for the SNES. For my generation it was the game that you went out and bought the SNES for, best game on that system for sure.

Smash for the Cube and Kart for the Wii and N64 arent mario games, but their multiplayer has caused me to lose more hours of my life that I care to think about.

i think super mario world FTW...i had nothing but doubt in my mind that mario going 3D would be a fail but or red hatted plumber actually pulled it off and made an amazing game with unbeliveable enviorments and open worldness (for its time)...the only thing in this game that could have used improvment were the bowser fights...i thought they were a little too easy for being BOWSER...aneway thats my 2c

Super Mario Bros 2 for NES! You can like pick between 4 characters, you fall from the sky and it's action time, love it. Also very challenging, don't know anyone who has beaten it. Sonic/Mario olympics is a close 2nd, the ping pong is great.

It would have to be Super Mario RPG for SNES but I don't know...there are lot of close seconds. RPG was one of my first role-playing video games and it was just so awesome and fun I can't forget it. Beautiful game. Mario three was amazing for the NES, so many different suits and items and things. Mario 64 was flat out amazing and is still fun to play after all these years. I felt like Sunshine and Galaxy weren't quite as impressive as 64 somehow, and the time I spent playing those ones kind of made me wish I had just replayed the 64 a couple more times. And of course the Super Smash series, though I couldn't choose between them, so oh well.

I liked the 3rd one for the NES...all the different suits and whistles and such.

It definitely wouldnt be wario ware: smooth moves, that games a bad acid trip in itself.

Yeah, Super Mario 3 was pretty cool, got my vote. Although, SM 2 for nes was pretty cool too, Princess Ruled - loved that floating ability. And I like the little egg firing dragon thing mini-bosses and the other boss characters. But SM3 def gets the vote for me.

For the record, I've beaten Mar Bros 2 ! You get to spin for extra lives, you can work out the timing on the spinning things and get lots of lives.

Super Mario All Stars for me! I got lost in the lost levels hence the name...What a great game.
2nd choice is super mario world
3rd Super mario Kart (snes)
4rth ... all of them are great!
