Which is your favourite: Mario video game?

I would have to say Super Mario World. That game captivated me when I was a kid. Finding the secret areas, the different colored Yoshis... Nothing but fond memories.

I liked the 3rd one for the NES...all the different suits and whistles and such.

It definitely wouldnt be wario ware: smooth moves, that games a bad acid trip in itself.

I would say the original, Super Mario World for SNES and Mario 64.

Nintendo just improved on Mario with every new console.

super mario world just barely inched out Mario Galaxy.

Smash and Kart I finitely played more, but they're not "mario games" to me.

SWIM likes Super Mario allstars on the snes.
SWIM loves mario 2 with those rabbits you can stand on, and mario 3 with the racoon suit, frog suit etc...

Mario 64. That game is almost perfect. Amazing level design. It's hard to believe that it was like the first game on the N64 and that it was one of the much earlier 3D platformers when playing it again nowadays.

I played through it from start to finish a few months ago and still enjoyed it.

last night i picked up mario sunshine and it was just as annoying as enjoyable.

Dang, I never knew there was so many Mario games. Haha. I'll have to go with Super Mario 3 as I always played it as a child, and still do once in a while

Super Mario World, for SNES. Mario 64 was innovative, and to me, defined the new era at the time. However, SMW was deeper for its time, with an absolute myriad of levels and entertainment to be had.

Mario Kart nearly got a vote, but like someone said, isn't true "Mario". Personally, I think Mario Kart 64 was a better game - 4 player battle mode was the shiznit. I probably spent more hours on the original though.
