I would like to see drugs legalized, but I don't see it being possible.

There is just no way to moderate usage. There is just to many dangerous drug combinations, as well as the potential for over dose, as well as a whole new string of addiction problems.

It would be nice to have some quality control, and it would make drug use much safer, but you have to remember that the majority of society is not as informed as us about drugs, and thus the above become much much bigger problems then you might think.

^ But the thing you have to realize is that the current laws do not moderate drug use, control combinations, or prevent overdoses now. Besides it should net be the role of the government to moderate drug use. I realize your point about the majority of society being as informed as many BL members but some of the money generated from taxing substances can go into education programs. Plus anyone selling drugs legally is going to want to keep its customers safe and satisfied and will probably provide a lot of information on how to best use their product.

Pretty much everything except meth and crack. Those two drugs would likely be made unnecessary via access to better drugs, anyway.

^^ you gotta be kidding, I've never noticed anything special about either of these. Of course, one form of meth is legal OTC already.

If mushrooms were legal I wouldnt be in such a fuckin mess right now. If I could bomb anything in this world without any consequences, it would be the Newark DEA office.

I'd legalize everything. I wanted to say everything but meth, but I realize that's just a bad idea (what with all the ghetto ass labs that are already up).

pot.

i would be nearly impossible to regulate psychedelics for safety reasons especially driving. if you could pick up tabs at the grocery store whenever, the world would not only be different but people would be making a lot of bad decisions in general whilst tripping but everything and everyone would be 10000x more peaceful and accepting. if they have like acid sessions that people could go to in communities where you tripped on acid and had no access to a car or something that could kill people, then that would be amazing. but the thought of anyone picking up tabs, selling them to 13 year olds - shit would be way to out of control. it is better to let the community truly interested in it to go out, search and find it.

Psychedelics can also be used in sub-trip doses as well, taken daily the way SSRI's and anti-psychotics are used, they can benefit some people. They should be, in the very least available by rx. Ideally, all rx drugs should be available without the need to consult with expensive and generally useless "doctors", and for improved safety, should be only sold at the discression of pharmacists, suppliers, etc, who would need to be liable for possible ill effect in a civil matter.

I know! People never trip and drive at the same time because its illegal thank goodness. Also I know many dealers who have a personal motto when selling drugs: "Morals over money." They would never think to sell anything to a teenager. I am very happy and feel very safe that the government feels it knows better than I do in regards to what is safe and regulates what I am allowed to do with my body. Thank God for drug laws. Without them people might sell to kids, drive on drugs, and god forbid be able to get drugs! 8)

I am kind of sorry for the sarcasm as it is pretty rude, but please re-read and logically evaluate what you posted.

^^ lol, no kidding, it did seem quite absurd, just imagine the circulars...

all drugs should be legalized. this prohibition and war on drugs is obviously a flop. who is to say what is and isn't the right thing to do in terms of what substances you can take into your body? people wouldn't be dying of overdoses left and right if the doses were controlled and people knew how strong they were. people are going to do the drug they want to do whether or not it's legal, so you might as well legalize them, control them, and tax them.

^^ The problem is though, the people running the show would see those as fighting words, reasons to keep locking up everyone who doesn't comply. The only thing left to do may be to arm ourselves well, and don't be afraid to pop a cap in a pigs eye, 'cause they do want a war, after all...

Marijuana, plus all tryptamine and phenethylamine analogs/derivatives should be legal.

If I were running the show I might have all physiologically addictive substances (i.e. cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine) not decriminalized, but regulated.

One of those is actually already regulated by rx in the form of Desoxyn,so......

I think all drugs should be made legal regardless of neurotoxicity or other damaging effects.

If substances were legal, drugs could be regulated and the question of purity would become null and void. It would allow people who want to use to do so safely.

Legalization would also allow for a greater spectrum of research to be done which of course would be absolutely fantastic!!
