Which drug is the most damaging to the brain?

i dunno, ive felt worse in the head after a massive e binge than i do when commin down off meth.....

so long as i keep the meth use to a minimum, eat, sleep (thanks benzos) and take care of my self.....i dont feel that shitty after crashin on meth....e comedowns would be the worst...meth is alot easier to crash on, if done in moderation.....now say bein up 2 or 3 days, with little food, and lots of meth, well yea the comedown would be alot worse....key is moderation. but again its hard to moderate use of a drug that stimulates the reward center of brain eh?

and alcohol, nothing makes me feel like hell the day after a long nite of heavy drinking...

either way, im sure theyre all damaging to the brain in their own special little ways

benzos cause the brain to shrink if used long term --correct?? I am talking about a slight shrinking laeving a bigger than usual gap between brain and skull perhaps at the front part of barin ...anyone verify "
my list
1 inhalants (ive met many kids who speak in monotone from glue/thinner)
2 alcohol it is a TOXIN by nature
3 absinthe
4 and, of course, the most fun of all, non-desoxyn METH ! darnnit !
5 Coffee ( but not tea )

maybe meth is the frontrunner because it is over done by so many.
I would rather use meth
than model glue or PCP or
a few others,
in fact I know someone who got perm damage
from one of the 2C RC's !

For those who say PCP is neurotoxic please provide some sort of citation or logical reasoning (anecdotal evidence is not really evidence). I hardly qualify Olney's lesions or William White's opinion as evidence.

Inhalants I would say are the most damaging to the brain with the exception of ether and N2O given the proper ventilation.

Then I suppose PCP is completely safe (no sarcasm intended). These findings seem to amount to alot more than any damage I've heard resultant from opiates, marijuana, LSD, et cetera.

I guess serotonergic drugs like meth and MDxx would take the lead then, with meth at the front due to some other activity associated with it. And inhalants. Can't forget about those legions of huffers out there.

PCP appears to be more dangerous than other disassociative because it seems to cause some cellular death via agonism at sigma receptors.

id vote meth for sure, damn i only smoked that shit for ohhhhh 5-6 yrs altogether and i wish i hadnt seen the brain scans.... :o

how bad is alcohol? how long does it take to feel the damage?

I'm still up in the air regarding PCP. After binges on MDxx compounds and Alcohol, and to some extent Amphetamines, I do undergo a 'healing' process where I can at least psychosomatically feel my brain become more normal again. I have binged on PCP and have never had to undergo this experience.

What's interesting is that any other dissociative, all classed as possible Olney's Lesions-catalysts, does to me what the above mentioned drugs do. Yet PCP, supposedly the 'worst of the worst' leaves no impressionable bad markings with me. Am I just in denial, or is there some foul play here?:D

Some of the Research Chemicals. I have two friends that have never been the same since they dabbled a few times with them.
Crystal Meth. No doubt about it. Of course, when it is abused though.
MDMA.
Alcohol, well... I'm sure it's up there, but I have (ab)used it for many, many years and know alot of others that do too, and I haven't noticed any "brain damage" personally. Also, nothing came up in the CAT scan.

If you want a technical answer to your question, I would have to say dioxin for the simple fact that one billionth of a gram can kill a healthy adult. So if you injest one milligram of Dioxin you are already 1 million times over the lethal dose which makes carfentanil look like driking water lol. The thing a lot of people dont realise even addicts that there really isnt a clear differentiation between a drug and a poison. For instance organophosphates that are deadly pesticides are very nuerotoxic, yet have pharmacalogical properties dealing with nuerons and receptors in the same way that "drugs" do. So even pesticides are technically a drug. Fentanyl, for example is considered a very deadly poison, yet at very small doses is used for therapeutic purposes.

judging only by the way SWIM feels on the comedown and for days afterwards SWIM would say the most damaging (in doses creating strong intoxication) would be:
1) Alcohol (by far the worst)
2) MDMA
3) Meth
4) Coke
5) Acid
6) Ketamine
