What's Good on European and African TV v. Walking the Dead

d/ls are blocked by my ISP. :\ Fuck it, I'll wait 6 months (or more) for the DVD boxset, it will be more enjoyable to watch that way anyway, rather than ending on a cliff hanger at the end of each episode, only to lose all its momentum and atmosphere by the time the enxt epiosde is broadcast a week later.

yeah, i think you suggested that before, even sent me a link IIRC (thanks for that if i didnt already thank you)

I think I'll "do a Shambles" this time and save them up for bulk watching, i wouldnt have the self control or self discipline or will-power to do that with weekly d/ls, so i'll probably go for the boxset this time round. I found season 4 extremely annoying and frustarting having to wait a week for each new episode. Up until then I'd been playing catch-up so that was never an issue until season 4.

They are making another series of Breaking Bad, apparently Walt is not dead after all. Which in a nutshell is what is wrong with US series they go on far too long.

I've just finished watching season 3 of Damages on Netflix.

Great show, you don't have to be interested in the legal side of things to like it... great crime drama in it's own right. I saw the first 2 series when it was aired on TV many years ago but gave up half way through the 3rd season for no real reason. It wasn't quite as gripping as some of the others overall but it was certainly tense towards the end. Will probably start watching season 4 at some point in the near future.

Revisiting the 4th Season of Geordie Shore.

Program is mint, reminds me of myself and me m8s although to be fair me physique and me fashion sense is a class above the lads on the there.

good job some one mentioned netflix forgot i had signed up to them £6.99 spent and i aint even been watching it doh :)

There is a treasure trove of shows to watch on Netflix... you'll find more than enough to watch and then some! :D

Well worth the £5.99 a month.

What better than £0 a month + a decent broadband connection ;)

I'm trying to decide whether I should re-watch Twin Peaks (only ever watched in when it was originally on TV) or start on Breaking Bad ??

Start on Breaking Bad allein

Netflix is alright.. had it for awhile.. best thing about it is the documentaries

Thanks, I'll mark a start later :)

I had Netflix on trial as well and didn't see the justification for it YMMV, whilst you can get almost anything 'online' it can be helpful to have a UI that makes useful suggestions, I guess that's one of it's strong points but through my Virgin TV Service the interface was awful

You started on it yet?

Prof Brian Cox's human universe earlier.. More awe inspiring and makes more sense than any fairy tale religious bollocks

Watching the film 'the exorcism of emily rose'
psychological horror film its good, based on a true story.

Belated recommendation to watch Twin Peaks cos is only two (brilliant) seasons and definitely stands rewatching - especially if not seen since originally broadcast. Get the film in too for quality entertainment completion.

Breaking Bad is also brilliant but kinda compulsive so will just eat up weeks. Not a bad thing but clear yer diary kinda stuff if you have the whole lot on hand to get through.

the is a new twin peaks coming up soon i remember reading only a few weeks ago

Not heard about this. Could be a Very Good Thing or could be an utterly memory-rape of epic proportions. Can only really see it working if David Lynch is still involved - would be a completely different thing altogether otherwise. Would hate to see it brought back by somebody of lesser abilities just wanting to produce a generic "weird" show off the back of a brilliant one.

In watchings news, noticed that a couple of the series I watch have recently started new seasons. As usual I'll be waiting til they're all been shown for momentum purposes but am reasonably sure I never did get around to watching the fourth season of Boardwalk Empire so got that to get started on sometime soonish. Also had a recent recommendation to give Orange is the New Black a go. Not heard of it but sounds like it's probably worth a go so will have a lil looksee whilst waiting for new seasons of other things to become less new and more complete.
