What'd you do to get off your butt today? v. "That's not real exercise!"

25 minutes spinning
chest
legs
biceps
10 minutes elliptical
20 minutes stretching session (never underestimate the power of stretching ;) )

That's 2:30 hours at the gym

The ugly square toe. LOL, PI.

Today I briskly walked a half mile from my car to clinical and then back again. Then when I got home, I walked the biggest dog a little under a mile, the medium-sized dog around the "block" (about a quarter of a mile). The smallest dog did not get walked, but tomorrow is another day. :)

my neighbor got these things that help with pushups.

done 100 everynight for a week. they work great, I'm sore as hell!

also been walking a lot. I do smoke but it at least helps!!

I also am eating three healthy meals per day and trying to get my days and. rights straight.

Hit the gym again this morning before work. Have a brief respite from the long hours so was able to go to the gym, come back home, shower, cook up some veggies and chicken to eat healthy for the next couple of days at work. Up and at them.

Finally worked out at home. Jillian Michael's dumb bell DVD. 25 exercises (mostly compound).
3 sets of 10. Using either 5 or 8lb weights. Mostly 5 lb :)

So, I was going to the gym today but I didn't make it! Instead I stayed in the park and worked the muscles I was supposed to work today with body weigh exercises. Pretty awesome, and took less time. Also I played with a super fun dog that came to me.
Anyway, that is real exercise. As I hadn't done cardio, I walked 2km to the ATM and 2km back. That's 4 kilometers = 2.48548477 miles. Pretty lame when compared to the 21k from yesterday but my feet still hurt!

I had a shitty workout last night. I only did 30 min. on the elliptical then walked home. FML. Today is a new day.

its ok. better than nothing, m'dear! thats what i always say. it is better than just saying fuck it and sitting at home on the couch. moving your body counts.

^ Thanks. :) It's definitely better than sitting at home... physically, mentally & emotionally. :)

Yesterday
45 min. elliptical
15 min. bike

Today
45 min. elliptical
10 min. bike

That giant hill I referenced so kills me after our workouts. I definitely felt it in my butt the whole way up today. Good stuff.

I wish I could find a good pic of it. Next time I'm walking home during daylight I'll try to remember... though I'm not so sure how well it'll turn up on my phone.

I am so effin sore. My hamstrings and bum! It has been a long time since I did squats and lunges. It hurts to lower myself on the toilet. Ah good times.

6.4 mile hike today with a friend and mutt

5 mile trail run in 1:04
My usual 6.4 mile attempt was cut short due to an overwhelming urge to pee out my butt
TMI and I don't care as I am proud that I did not shit myself in the last 1.5 miles and the 10 min drive home

^thats why i always carry some sort of toilet tissue and hand sanitizer in my backpack on my hikes... learned that one the hard way a few times :|

gettin ready to hop on my bike, ride to trailhead, and hike.... who knows where, how long, it is yet to be determined. oh the possibilities! lmao

There is no privacy in the woods with all the leaves gone and beautiful weather bringing more people on them.
I kept looking for a spot and was willing to forfeit some clothing for the wipe. I really needed to TCB at home.
I don't carry anything when I run except for my car key fob.
