Random what was the act of greatest physical violence that you have ever committed?

I punched a window once. It was to avoid punching my sister's then boyfriend in the face. That one involved the most blood I've ever seen and was about as close to the tendon as It could get without permanently damaging it.


The rest (except for the ones I've been advised not to discuss) are all hockey related and I'm not sure that it counts as violence if it's for sport.
 
Once I punched the refrigerator and broke my hand. My ex-wife was screaming at me and berating me as she did when she got mad... She was slapping me in the face and throwing things at me and I kept trying to leave the room so we could calm down and be productive but that was unacceptable to her. Finally I just lost my shit and started screaming and punched the fridge as hard as I could... left a dent in the metal and broke my hand, boxer's fracture. It got her to stop though, at least that time. I saw the doctor, who referred me to a specialist, who told me they wanted to re-break the hand and put titanium rods in there. I told them not to schedule me and I'd think about it... overnight I decided to just let it heal (great choice, my hand is absolutely fine and it was a minor fracture), and the specialist's office called and left a message saying I had missed my pre-op appointment and would be billed. But that I should come to the surgery anyway. 8) I called them back all week, never any answer, just a new voice mail every day telling them I better come to the operation or I'd be charged. They'd always call before I woke up. I could call them right back and no answer. The day before the surgery was scheduled (that I told them not to schedule), I finally got through to someone and told them to fuck off and they better not bill me. They never did.

My ex proceeded to tell all her family and our friends that I tried to hit her... I was like bitch, you were hitting me over and over! And I specifically punched the fridge because there's no way I was gonna punch you!

God she was awful... 8(

Same here... Never had to. That, and quite a few people here own and carry guns including myself. lol

Man, congrats on the self control. I would've at least restrained her tho. Thank god you're out anyways. lol

Normally we learn physical violence is bad, no one ever mentioned emotional and mental are all forms of the same abuse.

Now for myself I can't punch no thing. I did slip up with a one time slap to one of my kid's or wife, And still remembering and suffering for what I did, internal selfreflection .The guild was enough to deter me from any follow up aggression.

But some people namely dr's/ psychologists, those that work for social security or company' s own private workadvisors and 'so called' dr's. People working for job unenployment or disability.
These I regrtet not punching them in the face. They knew they broke the law, they knew what shit is was in and were aware of my responseablity's towards my kid's. These f*ckers diserverd pain but my pacifistic blueprint kinda saved them. And the fact you discover the fact's later when one has a look in his files.

Revenge is something you can think over and it will mean avoiding getting in trouble. Like when you place a fist on your doc's nose and eyeball. They do deserve punishment imo, it's just to late for the fighjt or flight response.

A reminder of how stupid violence is, this was my wrist after the above story

The only thing more embarrassing than explaining to the ER doc how this happened and then proceeding to ask for ketamine repeatedly after turning down pain meds was explaining (lying) to the neighbors why I was sweeping up shards of glass from the driveway that their grandaughter played in (with my wrist taped up and still stinking if booze)

I did exactly the same when I was about 20. Had to have surgery on my tendons for little finger and one next to it.
shen I was clenching fist they weren’t moving properly.
The cut originally look exactly same as urs but they made it bigger to do surgery.

Shit, that sounds terrible. I was extremely scared that I would lose some mobility. Still dealing with minor inconvenienced after they put a plate & some screws on my wrist from a lacrosse injury in high school, although it's gotten better from time.
