I think lostpunk said it all for me.

Pseudoscience, misrepresented physicists, the film being funded by a cult with their own barrow to push, low credibility "And i believe this story to be true, that when columbus sailed to the americas the indians could not see the ships a they had never seen them before...' etc.

I hate misrepresented science. I hate pseudo science. This film embodies taking advantage of people that don't know enough about science and to mislead them. There are soe valid points in it, however the destroyed all their credibility.

Can you tell i've had this argument with my girlfriend ad-nauseum?? :D

I turned it off after 5 minutes. I think whats inherently wrong with this movie is the horrible and sometimes laughable production. The story, graphics, music all make for an unenjoyable experience, and while the ideas set forth in the movie may be truly remarkable, the direction in which the information was set forth should have been different. In fact I dont believe the story with the girl is necessary at all. . .

Wow a pseudo-science cult movie. I'll take a shotgun to my face before I'm forced to watch this bullshit.

So I take it you haven't seen it? Correct? Well, you have alot to say about something you know nothing about. Internet heresay is proof of nothing.

It's a fucking movie shown in movie theatres. Take it for what it is, and either enjoy it or don't.

The effort you put in to talk shit about it shows your obviously biased and therefore invalid point of view. Moreso if you haven't even seen it. And you call the filmmakers ignorant.

Quit your baseless crusade. It's boring.

^ I did give up my baseless crusade. Like over a month ago. Look at the post dates.

If you found this movie to be deep and life changing then good on you.

Of course I'm biased, the people who made this are crazy and possibly dangerous. Not to mention I'm offended at anyone who would try to drag science through the mud like that.

Just watch out for anyone offering you adulterated cordial products as a method of ascension to a higher plane.

I thought the movie was interesting, but questionable in it's methods. Quantum physics is something I've always enjoyed, and I think it's unethicial to take a small fact of a particular science, and try to expand it out beyond it's true scope. It's true that the role of the observer is a key element of quantum physics, but it does not claim that observers such has yourself in day to day life can change physical reality.

I didn't realize that this film was so closely related to Ramtha. I know a guy that was envolved in thier program for many years, and although he enjoyed it, I wouldn't say he's reached an enlightened peak.

Fine movie to trip out to, but it doesn't contain the meaning of life. I gave it two stars.

i just watched it yesterday...i give it 4+++ stars...it makes so much sense..at least the parts dealing w/ neurobiology....i am clucking from opies right now....37 hrs in...and after that film...for some reason i have no desire to score..i just wanna get through this and see what happens to my brain...sooooo long since i have been clean for more than a lil bit...can i change my reality...yes...i think so...

J

Most mainstream physicists have a problem with this whole creating reality thing.

This movie had too much "up with people" garbage in it to make me really even get into it and i turned off the damn thing when people started dancing and there were those little red colored lumps supposedly representing something about sexuality.

physics really doesn't give us any information into how we should live our lives or anything related to that and all this movie is doing is the same thing all those new age/quantum mechanics books have been doing for years.

and while some of the scientists do seem well-heeled enough i suspect that personal philosophy guided many of them to participate in the project rather than how distinguished they were.

Saw the movie that it was pretty cool and bought up some intresting points...

But it is indeed sponsored by the Ramtha people.....

My parents were pretty involoved in that ramtha stuff in the mid 80's.....I rememeber that blonde haired older woman, who if im not mistaken, was Ramtha's medium channel or whatever....

So im sure its heavily biased towards their beliefs.....And its funny cuz when i ask my parents about nowadays about Ramtha and they just say its all B.S and anything related is B.S as well...

But w/ that being said i still liked the movie.....Yea some parts were kinda cheesy and def a stretch but overall it was cool

I watched it, had a good laugh, felt good after, didn't believe all of it, thought it had some interesting concepts (never looked into quantum physics).

hopefully it gets some people thinking differently.

Ooh cult scary ahh ban it!

this shit was pretty fuckin incredible
i watched it with a friend and we both could appreciate and understand it almost entirely (he is currently reading a book about alot of the same shit, so he knew a little bit more going into it, whereas i got completely lost sometimes)
several times during the movie we had to pause it so we could discuss something we could relate to the film
it really opened my mind up and i literally felt better after watching it
i know that sounds crazy
but it really helped me share alot of the same thoughts i had that i thought nobody else had

anybody know any other films that relate to this specifict subject/theory/etc?

crazy crazy stuff.
a movie that requires extreme thought... and has bad animation/graphics too! wee!
i enjoyed it. it was above and beyond a lazy saturday afternoon's viewing requirement.
i would watch it again (and perhaps again, if needed) to throughly think through many of the situations/questions/ideas posed

I felt like I was watching an Infomercial.

The horrible scene with everyone dancing made me embarrassed to be sitting in front of the TV.

The crazy lady seemed like some old bat they found feeding the pidgeons and asked her to put her thoughts on film.

I was expecting something along the lines of a live action, but with a different topic Waking Life, but all I got was the sensation that someone was taking a dump on my eyes and ears while simultaneously insulting my brain.

I give this movie 1 star and a kick in the shins.

it was financed by some cult operating out of portland. probably trying to become the new scientology. or something.

what a load of shit...

or people who talk about intergalatic walrus` falling out of spaceships.

it was a heap of shit. One of those stupid things that try to say people can have magical powers and shit because of quantum theory.

one of the funniest things i've read in a while... funny and true. hippy dippy crap aside, i turned this thing off inside of 1/2 an hour simply due to the low rent production values. the 1/2 hour i did manage to stomach showcased a few portland landmarks; thats the best thing i can say :D

one of the best movies i have seen in a while, think about what everybody says except for ramtha (crazy bitch). The best scientist was Joe Dispenza and his create your own day speech. Here it is.
"I wake up in the morning and I consciously create my day the way I want it to happen.

"Now sometimes, because my mind is examining all the things that I need to get done, it takes me a little while to settle down and get to the point of where I'm actually, intentionally creating my day.

"But here's the thing: When I create my day and out of nowhere little things happen that are so unexplainable, I know that they are the process, or the result, of my creation.

"And the more I do that, the more I build a neural net in my brain that I accept that that's possible. It gives me the power and the incentive to do it the NEXT day."

^^^
You can't expect anyone to take that as a serious source for information... What the hell are we supposed to be 'thinking' about ?
