A mate in school got me into Metallica, when I was 15. I then became a 'mosher' (according to the trackie-wearing scum in this town). Wore baggy pants, hoodies, New Rocks, got piercings and painted my nails, and occasionally face. Was heavily into metal, gigs and self-harm.

Got loads of shit from scrotes who only liked happy hardcore and vandalism. Started taking pills at 17, and electronic music suddenly clicked. I started to tone my look down, after that and got heavily into happy hardcore(!) and loads of other stuff. 12 years on, I still have my piercings, but I now wear regular jeans/t-shirt/hoody. I listen to loads of music, and generally look fairly 'normal', in the grand scheme of things. I suppose I'm more of a raver now, and still love my metal, but try not to judge people on how they look. I thank drugs for snapping me out of the closed-minded attitude I had, but regret fuck-all. Was a fun journey...
