What "subgenre" are you? V. Grebos, the crusties and the goths

That said, if you can legally snag a 17 year old prime female specimen, I say go for it!

I don't. I suppose teeny gals can be quite easy on the eye, can still bounce coins off their backsides and such, but are also crap shags and really annoying to boot. I've never seen the attraction to young girls. Maturity and experience ftw <3

Yes, that's purely a physical peak. If maturity & sexual experience, etc, have more value for you than physical perfection...well, thank god. Because sadly I am no longer 17. This is yet again a situation vampirism would solve; I could be 32 in the body of a 17 year old. Vampires, where are you? Why have you forsaken me?

A mate in school got me into Metallica, when I was 15. I then became a 'mosher' (according to the trackie-wearing scum in this town). Wore baggy pants, hoodies, New Rocks, got piercings and painted my nails, and occasionally face. Was heavily into metal, gigs and self-harm. ;) Got loads of shit from scrotes who only liked happy hardcore and vandalism. Started taking pills at 17, and electronic music suddenly clicked. I started to tone my look down, after that and got heavily into happy hardcore(!) and loads of other stuff. 12 years on, I still have my piercings, but I now wear regular jeans/t-shirt/hoody. I listen to loads of music, and generally look fairly 'normal', in the grand scheme of things. I suppose I'm more of a raver now, and still love my metal, but try not to judge people on how they look. I thank drugs for snapping me out of the closed-minded attitude I had, but regret fuck-all. Was a fun journey...
Nicely put - I like to think of my style and music taste as being a bit of a journey too. I started off as a metal kiddie, then got heavily into the goth side of electronic stuff, hardcore and psytrance. The only scene I've particularly fallen out with is the rock/metal one as it's gone quite unfriendly lately and no one's interested in talking to anyone they're not already friends with. (I still love my New Rocks though!)

Untainted by cycnicism? Beautiful hair? Starry-eyed romanticism? Boundless energy? Unable to distinguish between a poet and an ageing waster with an aptitude for bullshit?

All good, I say.

^ Granted the easy to take advantage aspect could be seen as a bonus. I really can't be doing with all the squeaking and squealing though. Well, it has its place in certain situations admittedly. Not in conversation though. And the excess of energy depresses me. I see nothing of interest in young girls other than as potential to become less young women.

In all honesty I wasn't keen on teenage girls when I was a teenage boy let alone now. Always preferred an older woman. Unfortunately I'm now old enough that an older woman would actually be old so gonna have to find somebody nearer my own age. Fortunately I currently agree with your figure for male perfection. Although I'd put it at 37 rather than 35.

In vampire news, I went out with a Transylvanian woman for a while. She wasn't a cheeky girl. Nor a vampire as far as I know. Was quite happy for her to nibble at me anyway.

To me, this is a Greebo

To me they are a bunch of Dinlos but i don't know em they might be proper sound as fuk :)

I'm in complete agreement. I think females peak at 17 and males at 35. Those are averages of course. I liken women to fragile, fleeting blossoms and men to bold, astringent red wine.
I would say most women don't peak at 17! Even most models are older than that.

a pretty teenage girl is like a lamb or a puppy, all the lads adore her; she is so cute. When she turns into a croaking sheep with shit all over its tail shes not quite so appealing.

I havent woken up yet, and that analogy is shit, but hopefully gets a point across.

Youth = beauty (again)

Youth really doesn't equal beauty though. Not beauty as I think of it anyway. Maybe the skin deep variety. Even then not necessarily. Very much depends on the person obviously, but most teens are far too awkward and insecure to even be physically beautiful let alone actually beautiful. As mentioned, I've always gone in for maturity though.

I happen to think that youth is beautiful but on the other hand and taking myself as an example; some people get better with age. I for one now know how to dress, do makeup etc that suits me after experimenting in my teens. Also with age comes confidence to be yourself which is also very attractive.
Some people look young forever too, I got asked if I was an intern at work the other day - I'm 27.

I never fully understood the be yourself shite, I mean, who the fuck am I? really?

I'll save the existentialist crisis when I'm getting stoned in a dark room.

Most young women aren't in tune with their sexuality so they make for a shite shag. Shagging for me, is as much about the build-up as the act itself, 18-21 year olds are as just as horny as moi, so the tease never lasts as long as one hopes it does.

I always had the fantasy of an older, cooler woman just strapping me down and eh... "teach me" stuff.

As far as what this thread is about: Am a long haired, bearded, messy cunt. I don't remember the last time I've ironed anything. People mistake my lack of interest for copious amounts of self-confidince, which I admit has landed me in tricky situations, which involve lots of good sex, and self-loathing binge drinking.
Agreed, being strapped down is very very hot.

That's because these days most interns are approaching 30s anyway. Did my last internship in 2011 I was 26 at the time, there was a 29 year old girl who was doing the internship with us, it was a major international organization, of all 12 interns, none was younger than 25 and all had postgraduate degrees. Insane job market today

No, it was a 22nd year old guy who was genuinely shocked that I was older then him after asking me about being a new graduate /intern.

It's true, my ex was asked, seriously, for proof of age to buy alcohol in her thirties. When I met her she was 26, she told me she was 23, and I thought she was lying and was actually 17 or 18. I've known her for almost twenty years so you'd think I'd know how old she was now but she told me the other day and it was three years older than I thought, She'd easily pass for early thirties but she's mid forties. Is annoying, especially when everyone thinks I'm older than I am, and it's been like that since my early twenties.

In the UK I used to get asked for ID to buy booze a lot even though I was in my twenties. Happened in the US as well, but that's more understandable.

Still I do meet people who are very surprised when I tell them I'm 28, I guess I sort of look young.
