What "subgenre" are you? V. Grebos, the crusties and the goths

Lots of metal-luvvin' rednecks, I'm afraid. So properly a subtype of rednecks, in the US. That background decor just screams hick to me!

Edit: I'd argue musicians are generally rockers, their own genre so cool no one can be in it but them. Everyone loves rockers it seems. :D

Grungers would listen to grunge and other 90s stuff, not Greebos really. Although definitely depends on where you're from. In fact in my OP I said I was a greebo but I meant grunger. Greebos a nice word
 
When I was in my teens,mid 80's, greebos were into Saxon, Maiden, AC/DC, Judas Priest, Motorhead, that sort of thing. :sus:

EDIT>>>>the Quo were already a bad joke. Angel dancing had past it's heyday. I think it was when Angel Dancing went out of fashoin that rockers started to be called greebos.

wOO HOO SO im only slightly past it and i look young for my age. And i can improve my shape drastically in about 3-4 months if the motivation is there. Does that mean in theory (if i got everything right i could be pulling 17 year olds here there and everywhere?

Last time i went out clubbing a 17ish year ol girl was dancing and making eye contact. Then a bunch of her mates came and dragged her away. Still dont know if that was cos i was too old, too seedy, or they were just going home lol.

Just because it's true doesn't mean people recognise it as such, sadly! And you could be below or beyond your personal peak, as 35 is only an average. That said, if you can legally snag a 17 year old prime female specimen, I say go for it!
 
A mate in school got me into Metallica, when I was 15. I then became a 'mosher' (according to the trackie-wearing scum in this town). Wore baggy pants, hoodies, New Rocks, got piercings and painted my nails, and occasionally face. Was heavily into metal, gigs and self-harm. ;) Got loads of shit from scrotes who only liked happy hardcore and vandalism. Started taking pills at 17, and electronic music suddenly clicked. I started to tone my look down, after that and got heavily into happy hardcore(!) and loads of other stuff. 12 years on, I still have my piercings, but I now wear regular jeans/t-shirt/hoody. I listen to loads of music, and generally look fairly 'normal', in the grand scheme of things. I suppose I'm more of a raver now, and still love my metal, but try not to judge people on how they look. I thank drugs for snapping me out of the closed-minded attitude I had, but regret fuck-all. Was a fun journey...

I'm glad i got into hiphop and techno and skateboarding as a kid instead of being a miserable goth.
