What makes the West Coast so great to you?

and the best part is that it's only March!

I have to agree with LapDawg. mmmm Sunny San Diego. No better place to live in Southern California than that.

I love Ohio, it will always be my first home, but the west coast is pretty cool too, here's my top seven reasons:

1) its never too cold anywhere in the state
2) norcal people remind me of Ohio people
3) Night sky in the high desert is great, there are no city lights to get in the way of the starlight and you can see hundreds of stars in the night sky - fucking awesome.
4) drugs are way more available here then any of the other 15 states I've spent time in.
5) plethora of higher education options
6) location - you can drive a few hours in socal and be in desert, mountains, beach, snow, or otta the country
7) loads of very cool bluelighters live here

I just mooved from SF to Virginia-unfortunatley.
-smoking weed in public
-the drum circles in GG park.
-eating bread bowls in the wharf.
-Berkley
-Raves (we dont have those in VA)
- The best weed ever.
-Speaking of weed, Hombolt (SP) county
-Hiking
-The magical Redwood forest

i also moved from virginia.... but to seattle and the weed i smoke now is several times more potent and enjoyable than the dirtweed i could aquire in Richmond.

The best things to me about my part of the left coast are: the weather and the hiking.

I moved here about 3 months ago. Its most definately better than Kansas. I actually think its better than Hawaii too, but I will reserve that judgement till I've been here longer. Anyone wanna show me around LA LA land?
