What little thing makes you smile?

omg that baby is SO FRIGGIN CUTE!!

My friend came over with her 3 month old yesterday-she has a double chin and her cheeks were like twice the size of her face lol. It was so adorable! I tried to like lay her on my stomach, but since my belly is so huge and round--omg she was having the best time it was so cute seeing her laughing and smiling trying to stay on my belly

The truth, when it has been said sincerely and from a place of integrity, always makes me smile!

When a person says things in acceptance of being goofy but with a sense of being real makes me smile!

When two puppys or kittens play in a carefree manner even though they are rough, and they enjoy their interplay, it makes me smile!

When young children, when one falls and hurts themselves and the other little one offer them assistance with a loving caring, that makes me smile!

When a man speaks in eloquent and warm manner but don't wrap me in cotton wool, the reflection of that man makes me smile!

When things in life align in a natural sense and suddenly come to associate and make meaning, that makes me smile.

The warm face and gaze of an elderly, gazing at me with a smile, makes me smile.

When I make the right decision, it makes me smile upon reflection.

When I finally find a deep and meaningful solution to a frustratingly persistant problem
that makes me smile!

The thought of someone I like because of his greatness, makes me smile!

my number one trigger for smiling is seeing other people smile. i think it's contagious. especially if they're really young, or really old. it's so symbolic. :D

A lot of little things make me smile :)

*catching a gorgeous glimpse of my boyfriend when he doesn't know I'm looking

*seeing one of my kitties having a good old stretch while they're sleeping

*watching my brother with his newborn baby boy, he is SUCH a great dad :)

*seeing random couples hug, hugs are just one of the most wonderful things in the world :D

*seeing a random person singing in their car, like, totally going for it! Classic hehe =D

Lmao your post made me chuckle. :D

^^ lol!! :D

Ahhh I love this thread =D

*Crumpets with melted butter and honey on a cold winter morning

*My kitties in general, but more specifically when Toby jumps up on my lap and starts purring (he's not usually very affectionate) <3

*Feeling good/happy/content on a sunny morning

*Snuggling with my boyfriend on the weekend after a good sleep-in

*Seeing people doing random acts of kindness, e.g. picking something up that someone unknowingly dropped and returning it to them, holding the door open for someone, letting someone get served first because they appear to be in more of a hurry. These things are getting less common!

HUGS! oh my gosh i love hugs! it's like you're saying "this is important, let's share it together" and then you hug and its like you feel like a part of the other person...

Re-living old memories...i love them dearly.

Cuddling!

Random acts of Kindness.

Hearing my kid brother scream my name when i get home from school, it's like he hasn't seen me in a year, oh i love him so much!

Seeing my grandparents still hold hands and just seeing how in love they are after 60+ years of marriage. :)

^^ Oh wow, that is so beautiful <3
It was my grandparents' 60th anniversary on the weekend and they are still so in love, so I know exactly what you mean :) <3

I was the fattest baby ever. At first I was small (6 weeks prem) but within a few months - rolls everywhere.
One of my first words was "wanker" thanks to mum swearing at bad drivers in the car. Haha. Not much has changed

I was definitely a chubby baby lol

I am a softie. I smile to myself everytime I see an elderly couple walking hand in hand down the street.
I know that sure makes me smile. I hope one day I can find that one person that I an share my life with.

Animals in general make me smile. Their just so adorable!
And those rare moments where I'm "there" and everything feels so right.

SO SO SO True....random acts of kindness make me smile like a freak, and I find that often they even make me tear (secretly) for a second only....hehe...<3<3 Sometimes I wish more people would pay attention to the positives rather than the negatives in life...its funny how one random act of kindness can erase several annoyances during the day. i love this thread.
