EDIT: Wait, that's definitely not an English Robin! It looks like some kind of warbler, I think. I'll check and get back to you... It is still deadly cute though

SO SO SO True....random acts of kindness make me smile like a freak, and I find that often they even make me tear (secretly) for a second only....hehe... Sometimes I wish more people would pay attention to the positives rather than the negatives in life...its funny how one random act of kindness can erase several annoyances during the day. i love this thread.

If you've ever seen Evan Almighty... "God" in the movie makes the word "ARK" stand for one Act of Random Kindness... and that is the way to change the world True too

My kitty likes to stick her paws out in the gap between the door to my apartment and the floor whenever somebody walks by or I come home. I know at least a few neighbors love it when they walk by in the hallway and they play with her when she does it. It's not uncommon for me to see fingers underneath the door trying to summon kitteh. It makes me smile that she makes other people smile when she does this.

I was the fattest baby ever.

I have no idea what I looked like as a baby because there aren't any photos...
I was 4th out of 5 kids and I guess by the time they got to me they were over taking baby photos...then when my little brother was born they got a new camera so there are a billion baby photos of him 8)

Also, doing a big/arduous job in the garden and stepping back at the end to see how good it looks. That makes me smile

Random acts of kindness.

The way the sun hits the ocean in the West just before it sets.

The way my love smiles the most heartwarming smile I've ever known, and knowing it's only for me.

Having a good laugh with my eccentric, crazy, alcoholic father, if only for that fact that I've inherited most of my empathic qualities from him in some way or another, even if he is out of his mind.

Getting to feel what it's like to be a playful cat, because that's the only way I'll play with him. I like him to feel like we're one in the same, albeit a minor (hehe) size difference. I think that's why he turned out so cool.

Whenever I see an animal of ANY species. There's something so pure and genuine about the way every other creature on this planet goes about life, seems to make so much more sense than the way we've been living our lives. I particularly like the fennec fox, fuck it I'll post a pic their so darn cute.

I'm forgetting a bunch, but I'm usually in a terminal despair kind of mood, so I guess this is a step forward.

All the wives in my husband's unit got one white rose from my husband's 1SG as a thank you for supporting our husbands, that made me happy.

My neighbor took my trash cans out to the curb for me.

A few weeks ago, ny neighbor's husband shoveled 6 inches of snow from my driveway, at 5 am, and even put salt down. I my neighbors. If only their daughter wasn't so evil...

Yes! I saw something that had me grinning like an idiot all day last week.

I was walking along southbank (Melbourne) and there was a busker playing music. It was a busy day and the place was swarming with people in a rush, going about their business. But in front of him, in the middle of this huge pavillion, was a little girl in a red dress dancing - spinning from side to side of the pavillion, jumping, waving her arms around - all with a huge smile on her face. It was just fantastic, this flash of red with her huge smile on her face so joyful amongst all these businesspeople dressed in grey.

I really wanted to video her but I thought that would probably seem a little creepy.
