What little thing makes you smile?

Too many times have I been out at clubs/bars where people are just assholes. Don't even want to meet anybody new. But this one nightclub in my town, EVERYONE is just really cool with each other. Its just so relaxing going to an establishment where you feel welcome.

Meeting just awesome people. This world is cluttered with rude, insensitive dirtbags. Its nice when you can meet somebody who likes you for you, because I am one dorky motherfuck!!! hahaha
 
A simple smile from just about anyone, a wave from a random often makes my day. it saddens me that so many seniors are so scared of people my age that they cant even look at me when I walk past, but this is the smiley thread so ill be quiet.

Drugs make me smile and theyre usually small but its an artificial smile so it doesnt count.

My mum makes me smile despite how much she pisses me off...I'll rephrase that. She often makes me smile and the thought of her makes me happy, but too much of anything goes bad.

Life makes me smile and the fact that I was chosen from a million-billion eggs and sperm definitely makes me feel lucky. Its a pretty gross thought but its so real. Im just happy to be here.

When a stranger is polite - it's a small act of genuine kindness which makes me smile because it gives me hope there are good people in the world.

Finding chocolate i'd forgotten about.

An awesome song coming on the radio or out or on random play on my computer that lifts my mood.

I take back my comment about generic smiley things, unless it actually helped people to stop repeating the same thing, then I don't take it back :D

Anyway, by the time I read through from my last post to the last post I realised I have a nice big grin on my face :)

Especially from finding out I named someone's guinea pig online :D
 
it always makes me smile when i leave or get home and i say "Hi Daisy" (the neigbor's dog) and i hear "THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP" from her giant tail hitting the wood fence. <3 it makes my day :)
 
A child care centre has just opened up downstairs and our kitchen area looks over the kids' play area outside. I love watching the kids play!! It's so adorable! It definitely makes me smile :)
 
Being home :)

And coming home to the new bunny we just got, shes so small and adorable! Shes a dwarf bunny so shes going to stay small :D
 
the smell of tar baking in the sun--reminds me of all my vacations to the beach when I was a kid

seeing a hamster clean its face--so cute!

seeing the rain move across a field...watching my friends getting rained on and still being dry for a few seconds more

riding my bicycle at night under the streetlamps and chasing my shadow
 
has anyone answered "drugs" yet? i like a little herb nugget, and little pink pills... (which are for your sanity; matt good reference ;p)

ok but for real, i agree with mynameisnotdeja. cooking has lately become more and more of a fun thing. i mean, what is undesirable about cooking? it has danger (oil spatter!) and adventure (figuring out which spice to use when trying something new) and best of all is getting baked and enjoying the fuck out of what was cooked. mmm

another thing that makes me happy is ivory soap. it's so soft and smooth and doesn't contain a bunch of greasy fucking moisturizers that make skin feel so dirty after. makes skin feel so good that it should be illegal to touch.

well i can't think of anything clever now but there are always those little things...
 
when my four year old talks in her sleep

the song another brick in the wall by pink floyd, my dad and i would sing that song all the time

mallowcups (candy, shaped like a reese cup)
 
The first day of the year that I don't have to wear a coat.

Seeing kids sledding in the winter or running through sprinklers in the summer.

Having absolutely nothing to do on a day off from work.
 
pizza.. pizza definitely makes me smile.
especially when its covered in thick stringy cheese.
 
Seeing messages in my inbox.

My puppy running up to me whenever I come back to my parents house.

Seeing my boyfriend on the weekends after missing the shit out of him all week.

Dogs that are on a walk. They have that huge grin on their face and they're so freakin happy.

Getting new shoes.
