that is also up there with trainspotting and human traffic...

i think because its based on a true story, it has a much more bigger feel to it. Unlike human traffic, that will just pump you up like all hell and then you wanna party like an animal

It involves Sean Connery running around in red leather jocks and braces for the entire movie and though it doesn't explicitly mention drugs, you can tell that the people who made it were fucked on acid the entire time from script developement to final production!

I just watched THE SALTON SEA as recommended by Schizo.
I remembered looking at it one night but deciding on something else, so I headed back today and got it.
EXCELLENT FILM! (although I think they use the term 'tweaker' about 200 times in the first 5 minutes ).
Anywaze, highly recommmended.
