What is your favorite HEALTHY munchie food?

^ Make your own! :) Just throw some dry roasted peanuts and a smidgen of vegetable oil (ideally peanut oil) in a food processor.

Whilst on a family vacation about a year ago I remember munching down a whole bag of dried Okra.
At first it sounds terrible. But it was plain and simply dried okra with sea salt and maybe a bit of some kind of soybean oil or similar oil.
I ate it like a bag of chips; couldn't control myself either. Ate the entire thing.

carrots and hummus
dates and (unflavored) yogurt
banana and a few cashews
pretty much anything + peanut butter

oh, YES! to sushi! i cut my own, though, since i live in a salmon and shrimp heaven, but a 3 hour ferry ride from the nearest sushi bar. try it! it's not hard at all!

also, seaweed. like the natives prepare. it comes out all crunchy and delicious in little popcorn-sized pieces, salty and sooo addictive!

halved avacado with salsa in the middle.

salad with sesame oil and rice vinegar.

steamed broc and cauli w/ cheese sauce.

sauteed zucchini/mushrooms/onions.

smoked salmon.

peel-and-eat shrimp with extra horseradishy cocktail sauce.

frozen fruit bars.

wheat thin / trisquit kind of crackers and any kind of hummus (preferably homemade) or salsa is also great. sometimes just bread and cheese will do it for me

Oatcakes - these ones in particular :)

If I'm really munchie-hungry I make vegetable soup.

Wow I have never seen those in the states, but since I am gluten free I would LOVE those!!

I second the carrots dipped in hummus. I like to make my own hummus and make it SUPER spicy, too! I like to dip carrots in Greek yogurt, too. :D

I also like sugar free popsicles! Mmmmmm....
