What is the most addictive substance?

It is called liquid handcuffs for a reason. I have never been able to get it because I take klonpin and they wont give it to me or they try to talk me out of it.

I am glad I didn't walk that path. I just went through hell from rx needle use and well that shit just had my soul until I stopped. As far as opiate addiction it is so hard to break a bad habit and just take pain pills or smack when you have severe pain so you can work.

I still have to drink liquor to sleep but I have made peace with my habits and I don't feel addicted so I really don't care if I die young as long as I lead a full life. Honestly I should have died several times due to being stabbed or people trying to kill me, stray gun shots that had nothing to do with me, someone trying to car jack me, being robbed, having unprotected sex, so people call me 9 lives.

I am getting out of the ghetto for good cuz I ain't trying to get hit with a bullet just sitting in where I live cuz I do here gun shots almost every day even in my own neighborhood. So yeah I don't get why people are so violent but I think I just need to get out of such a bad area.

I think the habits my be able to be shaken once I get out and I am getting my affairs in order and hooking my ppl up with my plugs and I am out and gonna travel until I find a city I love and a woman I love. Living in a ghetto area is an easy way to die especially if you don't know how to handle yourself.

I just lost a friend and it was the saddest thing ever cuz it was my friends wife and he is in prison so he is gonna lose his kids and he isn't a bad person. So the whole thing tore me up.

Damn man, that was rough to read. I hope you're able to get out of that life ASAP. It's no wonder people turn to mind-numbing drugs if that's the card they've been dealt. Hell, I definitely would.

It seems like you simply refuse to die and that tells a lot about you.
You can do anything you're willing to achieve.

The idea of moving to somewhere that does not have opiates or hard drugs worked pretty well for me.

Still you might do something else but perhaps you won't die and you still could be quite happy with your life.
 
The drugs I've used that I found most addictive are heroin and cigarettes.

Both pretty much owned my ass from the moment I tried them and have had trouble staying away from years later.

Opiates generally ive found very addictive but shooting heroin is a whole level of addictiveness on top of that. As a lot of people here know the shooting ritual itself is addictive too.
 
I find opioids to be very psychologically addictive personally. Just because the high seems so perfect, like it was made just for me.

Alcohol... I don't know why I keep coming back to that. I don't even like it anymore, but it just won't let me go.

Exactly.
That's when you don't measure the size of the fall anymore.
The only important thing is the next dose, that which will make you feel warm again and reset the scale you have rated your problems.
 
Nicotine hands down. I went from zero cigarettes to a pack a day in a matter of days when i started at age 20. i quit the cancer sticks 9 years later thanks to nicotine replacement patches and gum. However 6 years after starting the patches and chewing nicotine gum i'm still on both of them, i'm that hooked on nicotine. I don't crave cigarettes at all any more but chewing a piece of nicotine gum total takes the edge off for me
 
I know the feeling quite well. I often use some of those closed nicotine patches (Nordic Snus).
Good when we can identify the smoking triggers so you can develop your own strategies.
 
In the sneaky, stealthily, steal your soul bit by bit sort of way until there is no going back: Opiates.

In the instantaneous, compulsive, must-have-NOW way Crack Cocaine.
 
For an "In the moment" addictive quality, coke is a resounding number one. Even if I haven't had much to drink it's just endlessly moreish then before you know it you've gone through a gram.

Generally I'm ok with nicotine - I can go a week without and then have a few cigs one day and then do the same, aside from social smoking. For me it's the benzos- clonazepam, etizolam, clonazolam... Those are the three that give me real trouble. I have sort of general anxiety anyway so whilst there's no real euphoria, the lack of anxiety itself is pretty damn euphoric to me. So I'd have to say the benzos - so easy to become reliant and dependent on them and so easy to attain too
 
If you are okay with Nicotine, Coke won't be a problem. You'll get sick of it - hopefully soon enough!

Crack + IV heroin. Many users of Crack today have found in heroin its comfort for its comedown.
But the combination of both together makes addiction even harder to deal with IMO.

Specially tobacco if we are talking about addiction.

Stims are my happy place. I love running around with a smile on my face, talking to people, and it makes my job go by so much faster. I just feel enhanced in everything I do, and feel like myself again. They just breathe life into the depressed mess I've been lately.
