What is the best game system today?

Original Bioshock and Bioshock 2 were for both ps3 and 360.
But yeah, you are right. At least they'll always have halo on their side.
 
I honestly love my ps3. I mean with Demon's Souls, God of War, MAG, Socom, Heavy Rain, Uncharted, and I'm sure I'm forgetting other recent exclusive titles... their line up DESTROY'S anything new coming out exclusive for the 360.

With that being said, the 360 has a very large selection of quality games that are highly playable (no matter how much I hate some of them), There are gears of war, Halo.... someone else help me out cause I can't think of any other exclusives for the 360 right now. Anyway it does have a large selection of quality games, and most people find the 360 interface easier to use.
 
im a 360 owner but i want a ps3 for all the games mentioned in the previous post.

If you play fighting games ps3 would be my choice. The controler is way better for fighters IMO. Fighters with an Xbox controler feel awkward to me. Of course the ps3 offers blu-ray playback which is a selling point for some. All in all I think the ps3 has a terrible library and the games that are cross platform tend to be better on Xbox.

If you really want to play in groups than the wii all the way. The controlers are very cool. Although I've really only played Wii sports and a cod game the controls were very responsive and extremely fun. The only downfall to the Wii is its lack of a lot of popular games that can even be found on both ps3 and 360.

As IP said you will have fun with all of them, its really about what you like to do. Maybe if you told us what kind of games you like we could help better.

Times have changed. I no longer touch my 360. PS3>360 IMHO. I fucking love my PS3 and I was a huge xbox guy.

I voted the Wii, for 2 reasons. of the 3, the Wii is the only thing i own (which doesnt make it the best but....) per the OPs original requirments i would say the Wii is actually the best choice.

If he wasnt real interested in group activity then I'da voted PS3

I mostly play ps2 then wii then PS3 at most friends
 
I'm going with the Wii, although I love my PS3, and its good for when I wanna be lazy, I love the fun of the wii, whacking a remote control around while controlling your character playing tennis, or whatever is needed of it, really makes you feel in the game, and yes I know the Kinect is probably better in other peoples eyes, but not mine as it doesn't cater to my needs.
