What Drug is your City known for?

Just curious, mdmantpa since you used to live in VA, what would you say roanoke and radford would be known for (if anything)?? ... I know Richmond is full of that crack though haha, my cousin goes to VCU and she says its pretty much passed around like candy.
 
New Jersey: Heroin.

Anything you want is available though. But you don't have to even say what drug you want when you hit certain streets. They know what makes white people army roll down cop infested streets to get fixed.
 
my city (winston salem, nc) was built on tobacco.

not sure if we have a reputation as far as illegal drugs, but we're real close to some of the best pot this side of CA/NY
 
TD4: I don't really know what that area would be known for in general, but I knew it for OC 80's and lots of them lol. As a college town in general though Radford probably has a good amount of weed, cocaine, and ecstasy.
I know Harrisonburg, VA (JMU) has a hefty supply of all sorts of Psychedelics such as shrooms, Acid, Mescaline, etc.
Also Shenandoah County, VA is huuuuuge on Meth, they also have a fair bit of mushroom and pot growers.
 
My city of PATERSON NJ is known for HEROIN the streets are flooded with dope you can drive down the street and cop it almost if not 24 hours a day 7 days a week. If you need dope make a drive to Paterson.:) good luck!!
 
Alcohol. This covers all of New England but especially the Cape.

We are known by dealers from nearby cities as a good place to make money. You can get any drug but it will be priced higher than you'd find in a more rural area by 30 to 50 percent.
 
well im in chapel hill NC but veyr familiar with asheville too. asheville NC is famous for dank bud and lsd. mushrooms to a lesser extent. its jsut a bunch of hippies in the mountains.

Hey man, At first I thought that this was kind of on the line, I want to close it and Ill tell ya why.

There is several things that might make this thread unnecessary in here, so ill lay it down...

Is this thread helping anybody? No, unles its a clueless person thats new to the drug scene and is lookin for the right places to go. In that case this might be seen as a source thread, even tho IMO thats kinda ridiculous becuz giving somebody a whole city to work with aint givin em much to go on, but still.

Its clearly about locations, which is wat we got the regional forums for, but the thing is, drug culture covers a bunch of different countries, so it wouldnt be fair to put it in north and south american, aus, euro , etc forums.

And third, In general, hoods all over usually got the same shit. Most cities across th country will always have crack/coke, heroin, and weed for the most part. There is more of this here, more of that there, and so on but in general while there might be "regional delights" there is usually the same shit just in different levels of availability.

But, I dont think this thread is SPECIFICALLY against the rules. I been thinkin over it, and while its still my instinct to shut it down, i realized that i would usualyl just move it to a regional forum. Since i can tdo that due to the many different countries represented on the dc board, is it fair to lock it just becuz it cant be moved? I dont think so, so for now Ima leave this here after thinkin it over. However yall really need to toe the line and make sure nothin too "informative" pops outta yall mouths becuz this thread needs to stay clean if its gonna be allowed to stay open. one wrong move and its out, we dont need this becomin known as the forum where you can post thinly veiled sources, capsice kids?

Diesel all day, every day baby 24/7 the heroin is flowin free and floodin the streets anywhere you go.

Base kinda goes along with it, Ill put it to you like this, Paterson aint known for havin particularly good base, its just that ALOT of dopefeens like a lil bit of white to smoke with their dope, so alot of spots have 2 for 1 type things where theyll throw in a 5 piece or watever.

Aaannnd....We all know about that PATERSON PIFF!!! I dont know about newark, i never copped piff over there, but man everybody in passaic county n the surroundin areas knows that if you want that fire piff you go to paterson and you will get the nicest fattest dimes of haze with that smell that lets you know its official. (Piff is hard to explain, its like a really high grade of weed but it aint no particular strain, in general its haze type bud but its just piff. I dont know. You know it when you smell it. its on the level with the named strains, but its just a generic name for very high quality high potency trees.)

NJ in general is known for bein pretty much the heroin capital of the US , and hands down the east coast no question. Its a nice state for a dopehead to live in...Well until its time to quit. :|

Anyways there also always seems to be a good amount of wet (pcp) in jerz floatin around.

Youre prolly thinking of green point brooklyn. New york got tons of heroin of its own. Probably far more than greenville south carolina has ever seen. There aint no reason to name a place with a well established heroin trade of its own after a smaller city with a smaller heroin trade. if anything they should be calling greenville little new york not the other way around. But thats just my 2....

I didn't think about the thread not being harm-reduction related, and if it is closed I will understand. I just thought this would be a fun and light hearted place to get to rep where you're from. Most places do have the same general stuff, but they usually have that one thing they are especially known for. Just like you can get anything you want in NJ, but I think about stamped bags specifically when I think about the NJ drug scene, etc.
 
patersons not too much of a hike....but its always my plan d. plan d cause its a trip, but always a sure thing. some streets you go on, they see a white person and they all run upto you like youre god. love nj
 
Vancouver, BC: basically the all-around drug capital in all of Canada, but to be more specific it is THE spot for heroin and killer buds in this country. Crack too, but Toronto, Winnipeg, etc, etc can all compete when it comes to quality of rock.
