That would happen once in a while but not too much. But a paycheck is a paycheck, better than nothing.
 
You got a job with your city? That's awesome. You'll get paid a decent amount for your age and you'll get a good reference for future jobs.

Uhh I am 25. When I said "Age is 16", I didn't mean my age, I meant the age of consent in Canada. That's why I started it with "I'm in Canada." I'm not a troll. I'm just piss drunk.
 
$10/hr is really good man I know people twice your age that has never made that in their life.

I'm 18. If I were you I really wouldn't worry about it, and yeah as has been mentioned you're getting payed a pretty huge amount for your age, too, so that's pretty awesome - I'm making £4/hour bartending which is something like $7 so it kinda sucks. I think it's below minimum wage haha.
 
That's a perfectly acceptable job. As a female, I wouldn't be any more turned off by that occupation as anything else. Plus that's kinda sweet, I imagine some fellas wouldn't even have the balls to do that job because of it's title alone. Congrats on the new job! :D
 
Opium, I was like sure you were from Ontario for some reason. But yeah, being a Garbage Man at 17 sounds fucking sweet. I wouldn't worry too bad, keeps you active and you got a steady job. I don't think any girl worth your time would be put off.
