what bodybuilding supplements do you use?

There's been reports that milk thistle doesn't really do much if anything for the liver :/ otherwise I'd say a good water intake would be extremely beneficial.

Exactly my thoughts. I've always been skeptical of the benefits of milk thistle. Just money being wasted that could have gone toward something beneficial like food.

What do you guys take for liver health ?

TUDCA is very effective from what I heard.

Milk Thistle is technically effective due to what it contains but it needs to be extracted. Silibinin is the chemical Milk Thistle contains and when its extracted, purified, and all that nice shit and dosed at 100mg it's great for hepatoxicity. They actually modify Silibinin to turn it into an injectable and it's used in hospital setting for treatment of severe intoxications of hepatoxic substances.

Right now...

DAA
whey opnut
creatine
20000 IU d3
Hemavol
Fish oil from salmon
GNC multi 2 a day
1000mg vitamin C

I supplement vitamins and minerals, and use :
Whey
Sleep aid (melatonin,gaba,b6,valerian....)
Cod liver oil
Creatine mono

I'm aware that gaba doesnt seem to cross the bb barrier, but the product just had it

I don't really consider vitamins and minerals as Supplements, more along the lines of necessities for all people. Though essentially they "supplement" the deficiency most people have.

I support alot of supps. I don't feel like one should use AAS over long periods of time unless your career warrants it or living as healthy as possible and using supps still can't get them decent test levels. To each his own though.

Smart guy here. Many guys opt to blast and cruise with little to no thought and end up fucking themselves. Glad to have another person with a brain posting here.

I approach everything that I don't fully understand with caution. Especially when it applies to something potentially permanent.

thank you.

I respectfully disagree. My experience with milk thistle is that I recover faster after a night of heavy drinking - the original reason why I take milk thistle. I'll know more in a few months after my cholesterol/triglyceride blood work is checked. Alcohol has been horrible for my triglyceride levels.

The only supplements worth taking are protein, creatine, weight gain and anabolic steroids. The rest are bullshit.

I thought most weight gainers contained about 60/40% glucose/protein ratio.. Cheaper buying a cheap protein powder and adding the glucose yourself IMO..

Welcome back nolys, how's the PCT going..?

That's what I do. Milk+protein powder+waxy maize powder (got a good deal on a small bag to try out). Each cup is around 500kcal. The milk is the most expensive part of the whole drink lol.

you can try
Boldebolin (boldenone undecylenate)
Alphabolin (methenolone enanthate)
Induject-250 (testosterone mix)
Mastebolin (drostanolone propionate)
Nandro (nandrolone propionate)
Nandrobolin (nandrolone decanoate)
NandroRapid (nandrolone phenylpropionat

PCT? Pct has been bullshit, not because of my clomid or anything, but because my shoulder has decided to give up altogether, I've been told to stop training upper body altogether until I get my MRI scan on the 8th of august to see how much damage has actually been done. At first they said to keep training, now they have changed their minds...
And I also missed an appointment because of a serious personal/family problem that I don't want to speak about at all at the moment and forgot all about it so they decided to discharge me and physiotherapy is on halt for the next 4 weeks ffs.

So yeah pct is not going good but I'd rather not speak about any of the personal problems I've been facing over the past month or so. Youv probably noticed I havnt been here very much recently. There's a lot of shit going on...

Can't train, havnt been able to sleep properly, havnt been able to eat properly... Hope everything will be sorted within the next 4 weeks or so though

Ill be fine when I can start training again it helps me push shit to the back of my head lol. Bastards gave me my mri scan the day after my 21st birthday at 8 in the morning too fs...
I know here in sd were against alcohol and drug abuse, but I was planning on getting seriously fucked up lol, just as a one off seeing as I don't drink or smoke anymore.

Off the cigs and drink about 4 months now in case anyones interested, had the occasional few drinks in the house with my girlfriend but never more than 4 beers once a month or so, and 1 pint of guiness twice when I was out for dinner

I still smoke cigs. My only vice today really. Not ready to quit yet, my only complaint with them is they limit my appetite. Other than that, the only drug put into my body thus far is melanotan II.

Edit: I was in rehab detoxing from heroin on my 21st bday and haven't used any drugs or booze since then. I was a bit bummed about not getting fucked up for my 21st but things had to change.

Stop wasting money and spreading this non-sense bro.

Roflmao. Right....

1. L.arginine has always worked amazingly well for me.
2. Citruline malate is questionable - trying it out atm but Beta Alanine certainly works. Reminds me that I need to order some Taurine though.
3. Glutamine has always helped me markedly with soreness but more importantly - immune system health.
4. Gaba is in the b6 so its free. I'm aware of the Gaba issue but the vendor I use for my supps doesn't carry it alone.

Aside from all of that, the cost if my sups is lower than 60c a day. Wasting money ... Gotta be kidding. If you buy this stuff as bulk powder it costs almost nothing.

For reference - I have 10+ years of lifting experience (since 2002) without any significant time off. I've gone on and off supplements experimentally to test their effectiveness. Years went into figuring out which were actually having any noticeable effect and which were not. I've also never taken any pro-hormones, anabolic agents, or anything else (clen, t3, etc.), however, I have taken up through organic chemistry so I have an intimate understanding of the various biological pathways in the human body and I've also read the anabolic bible and have looked extensively into diet, supplement, and training science over this past decade.

I'm not saying I know for sure that these things work but here's my experimental process:
Continue taking current regiment but add in a new element (for example, fish oils), take for 4 weeks and note any changes in alertness, wellbeing, immune function, sleep, soreness, strength, etc.
Take 4 weeks off of said supplement and again note changes.
If there is a difference between the periods, investigate further, otherwise or if there's a negative response, stop taking said supplement.

Alternatively, if I don't feel like testing something new, remove a supplement from the list and note any changes. I've done this repeatedly with Glutamine btw. Result each and every time was an increase in both the duration and intensity of muscle soreness and an increase in frequency of small illnesses like the common cold.

But take that all for what it's worth.

Here's the supplement list I got nothing out of personally:
BCAAs
Fish Oils
Glucosamine/Chondroitin
Casein
Supps I don't like physically:
Yohimbe
Ephedra

But to be frank, I don't mess with anything more exotic than vitamins, minerals, and aminos. It's possible I would feel something from Tribulus or DHAE but I've never taken any of that stuff.

Stuff I forgot about -
Multivitamin but that's sort of obvious.
Melatonin is great but almost overkill if you're already taking ZMA.
I feel that Taurine is up in the air however I have noticed a definite positive interaction with Beta Alanine.

Stuff I've never bothered investigating -
Creatine variations like Create Ethyl Ester and such. I feel that mono with plenty of water has worked for me and is cheap.
L-tyrosine and a few other aminos.
