Aye some of the porridges tell you to use water. Milk is much better like. Porridge in general is a bit minging though.

Roast beef for dinner tonight, nom nom nom!
 
I've got a big beef joint to cook, it came tied up in string for whatever reason. Are you supposed to keep the strings on it when cooking or not?
 
I do when I want to slice it for roast beef but I undo the string and unfurl it when I'm cooking shredded beef. Gets the flavours in the meat a bit better that way and just falls apart with a few hours slow cooking.
 
And you canna beat a traditional plate of mince and tatties, something I've not had for a looooooong time.

It was pretty nice though. I made some guacamole to go with it. I think my friend's mum likes it when I'm here because i insist of making random little additions to meals that'd I'd always have which she likes, but never makes because no one else would eat them!

Just had a slice of toast, probably have some left over roast beef and salad next and gona crack on with making the tasty looking chicken curry from a restaurant on Celeb Master Chef last week.
 
just had falafels with loads of hummus and a salad in a pita. beeeejeebuuz that was fucking tasty. i could eat another 5 of those.

The curry I made tonight was probably the best I've ever made. The sauce was the ideal consistency, really tasty, perfect levels of spice, creamy and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Success!
 
Tonight we're having Chicken Pita's with fresh salad stuff, fried Halloumi and tzatziki with feta in it. Served with chips. I'm not having any chips but quite looking forward to my pita. I've also got a bit of Jalepeno Humous to go with mine. Mmmmmm
 
I can't remember who recommended this, but they were right. T'is good shit.

Looks awful. As a recent veggie surprised you can stomach something so nasty, from the picture it looks like stale donner kebab meat in a packet.
 
lol spade. It's not that bad, no worse than air dried ham or something really.

Tried some free sample of beef jerky in selfridges when I was having a mill around the food court, didn't really taste of anything.
 
Nowt at moment, but later I'm going up to folks to indulge in mince & dumplings (and before anyone comments, dumplings made with veg suet and mince is quorn mince - my folks don't think red meat Quorn products aren't as good as 'real' meat, but they have to go with such things in order for me to eat it!), with lashings of mashed tatie as well. I'm drooling just writing about it.

Hope the last of the DPT wears off before Igo to there's as I don't fancy getting the look if I'm a tad non compus (screams of,"the taties are crawling off the plate" followed by disparaging looks from mother! =D
 
a small bowl of green olives. Tasty stuff. Think I'm gonna have a mini chocolate bar in a minute too. Its been days since I've been able to eat. Catching up on it nicely.
