What are you munching on? v. Noodle nights n greedy monkeys

My dinner was the nicest thing I've eaten in a looooooooooong time. The gammon was so tasty and tender, there's tons left too so I'll be eating it for the next couple of days on sandwhiches and what have ye, mmmmmmmmm!

My fingernails as I venture out and contemplate a future date with a dark lady (that seems cryptic/windswept and interesting enough for the moment! =D)

Ooo :) that sounds exciting and mysterious Mr F&B! Will await more clues with baited breath :D

I was thinking haggis, but got waylaid by throwing up (dhc's the bulimic's droog of choice 8)) hmm and I've still not simmered me blueberries :|

Just enjoyed a lovely Thorntons mini caramel shortcake. A nice little indulgence.
Shall be the a while before I enjoy such things again as starting tomorrow I shall be eating rather healthy low cal foods. I've over indulged the past week on tasty nosh. The food was nice but the couple of added pounds are very unwelcome.

You spoilt it with the marmite.

I fancy a slice of toast and butter I think then soon I'm gonna make a salad or a sandwhich with the leftover pork from yesterday.

A massive plate of salad, cheese, pickled onions, coleslaw, potato salad and gammon.

Mates mum is making chilli con carne. Haven't had it with real meat as opposed to soya mince for yeaaaaars.

Think mince meat is a bit horrible really. Should be alright if there is lots of tomatoes in. The smell of frying mince, particularly lamb mince is honestly one of the most vile smells ever i think. You never know what cuts of meat are in it either which I don't like.

I like mince, particularly in bolognaise & chilli con carne. Who cares what's in it as long as it tastes good. :D

And you canna beat a traditional plate of mince and tatties, something I've not had for a looooooong time.

asda were selling breaded ( baked fried chicken type coating ) chicken breasts. I didnt fancy a heap of cooking this evening. They are really nice. The coating on it is crispy and lovely and it actually is chicken breast not reformed crap. Served them with chips and mac-n-Cheese. I've had a tummy ache for much of the day so I only had a wee nibble at part of some chicken though.

I <3 breaded chicken breasts, usually get the M&S ones you can cook straight from frozen, ideal when you canna be arsed to cook. They go well with so many things, chicken & chips, chicken & beans, chicken and rice, chicken and pasta. Love the crispyness of them.
