got some awesome aubergine dish and cumin chlli chicken with peanuts.

Sounds awesome. I'm gonna hunt down a cumin chilli chicken recipe.

chicken pieces seem to be covered in flour, probably corn flour seasoned with cumin, and then deep fried with a shit load of dried chllies, garlic, ginger, sesame seeds, peanuts and spring onions from what I can judge.

Currently scoffing some of the apple crumble pie I made my OH -my oh me my shortbread pastry is particularly good even though I say so myself

it's both haha. Deep fried meat/fish tend to be juicy on the inside if cooked right....

It sounds good. I quite like chinese style crispy beef but they never manage to get it juicy on the inside in any of the places round here.

Breakfast today was toasted bagel, cream cheese and cucumber.

lazy day today, totally ate only stuff you can buy from the local bakery. I feel like such a slob... So total of the day is 2 bagels, 2 croissants with pizza and cheese filling and some ham, with some sour cherry juice thrown on top

Always wondered how they make the "pizza" filing, not like they can juice a pizza.... Also, why is it delicious and sweet, and at the same time reminidng you of pizza? Mystery

Some home made chickpea dip thingy, and home made Popadoms, handed to me waitress service by a 4 year old, she told me she'd made it all but obviously it was her mam.

It was tasty and very very spicy, full of fresh jalapeños.

The prawn vindaloo from the local takeaway (excellent stuff from there, they even do good begum barta (sp?) for all you aubergine fans). It's so hot it's lasted several hours already

Had an amazing lunch, some homemade veg soup to start with followd by a pork & haggis burger on a toasted roll with nice cheese, chopped chillis and jalapenos, some lettuce and Reggae Reggae relish. It was fucking braw!

Going to make dinner for a friend as she is staying over at the moment. Gping to be a pork mince stir fry with rice (naturally). Nothing fancy but should be tasty.

Eventually managed 'proper food', not repeated bowls of special K, about 30 mins ago - a nice greasy funghi pizza. I will now soak in a bath and hope the torments have ceased by tomorrow morning

A pretty manky mince, potato & bean pie from Goodfellows & Stevenson, the mash being solid and the beans dried out. Dunno what I was thinking tbh.

Looking forward to dinner tonight, slow roasted joint of gammon in a sticky glaze with cauli cheese, mmmmmm!

Had a nice oaty chocolate chip cookie whilst I was out.

Just having a salad for dinner to make up for cold take away breakfast (falafal and humous pitta though so could be worse).
