Dan.. mate. Your diet both fascinates and worries me. Stirfry brekkie? Two tins of tuna with mustard? Also, nice tray.

eaten today... the stir fry, salad, a tin of kippers, a tin of veg, some bread, low cal chili crisps, nicely washed down with lots of vodka

nothing wrong with stirfry, and i suppose it's my pre-conceived notions of what a breakfast should be that are at fault here, not you :D
 
Could go a bowl of homemade tomato soup right now, roasted tomato and red pepper would be even better. I just ate a bag of chilli covered broad beans, lovely! Prob have some beef skewers and pad thai in a bit.
 
Din-din tonight consisted of chicken breast baked with soft cheese and breadcrumbs, parmentier potatoes (or lomticks of spud roast in garlic/herb butter to the likes of me) and... beans. Classy as ever :D

Was bloody tasty though. And cheap. £3 for the lot and only ate half of it :)

The choccy one - not seen the brulee one. Was quite tasty but not amazing and insanely expensive (if it weren't on offer) so won't bother again.

Dough for Kockanpizza V2 is now underway with Badandwicked style couscous additions.

No dissociatives tonight though, this pizza is poppy powered.
 
Never had a poppy pizza but always put pumpkin seeds on homemade pizza when I made it. Dunno where that came from but they are yummy and nice for a bit o' crunch anyway.

Chicken thingy was indeed nice, Knock. Was out of a pack (natch) but not as bad as me usual processed muck. Was just a chicken breast (and actual one as opposed to some reformed beasty) with cream cheese and breadcrumbs so not much to be processes really. Co-Op "quite expensive proper food" range is pretty good actually.

Did the polenta crust on a herby garlic and feta cheese number we had last night for a bbq carb-side. Left overs this morning toasted were pungent but damn tasty all buttered up.

Have a wholemeal dough doing its thang - you were right knock, it sits in bags in the fridge just fine then you can bring it out and raise it whenever. Magical stuff %) Planning on fresh bread rolls made into mad shapes for breakies / lunch tomorrow.

Shammy you have to get into this - its fucking cheap as chips, bag of strong flour, some yeast and off you go - a 1.5kg bag of flour can spin us out about 4 loaves or 8 pizza bases, all sorts - you're talking about £1 - £1.50 here.

In mucnin news I had a meal out beside the beach where my cleavage fried, however the warm salad of blackpudding, crispy bacon, leaves and a poached duck egg went down very well. Lovely :)

On the cost thing I am sure it is cheap but I always feel bad putting the oven on to cook something for one person! It just seems wrong, and the oven is hot for ages after you've finished. Need to design a device to recoup the lost energy and feed it back into the national grid...
 
Often used to make me own bread and pizza dough in years past, Kate. Not been arsed to recently cos I just don't eat enough of it to be that fussed. Must admit it is very satisfying to make your own though. And it tastes and smells lushy as a lushy thing <3

Come to think of it, MamaShambles gave me an insanely huge (2kg 8o) tin of pizza topping a while back. No idea why - what the fuck am I meant to do with 2kg of (basically) tomato paste that won't involve guzzling it from the tin or (more likely) hardly using any before it goes manky? If I had a freezer...

Might get back into a bit o' bread-baking at some point though cos it really is unbeatable on taste. Amongst other things.

Also, burnt cleavage?!? Sounds inordinately painful. Chafing and that. Ow. Tis why I don't wear lowcut tops - prefer me baps white ;)

If you have a freezer you could make better use of your oven being on and cook other things in it to freeze for later - even something like roast tatties, cakes? and then portion up and freeze. I batch cook quite a bit just because i love cooking but then again its handy as hell when you come in late from work and can pop something home made in the oven.

That freezer is becoming more of an essential....would save you a fortune.

Thing with bread dough it appears to be forgiving to abuse and still bounces back so all win. Especially if your fed up with store bought loves / pizzas and bread based products.

Ya, homemade mushy pizza stall at a festy seems like the only answer to me pizza topping conundrum - sounds like a plan =D

Have some dried Fly Agarics in the cupboard too - they taste great and would probably be good on pizza. They're used in Japanese cookery apparently. In small quantities to avoid tripping though.

The plan takes shape...

Can't think of much better fun and chaos as us setting up a festival psychedelic pizza stall, off course I'd want to do chocolate cake for the late night munchers too. Bit hash in there and that's the pudding menu perfected eh ;)

I have large scale gazebo too 8) plus yards and yard of sari patterned lush fabrics I bought years ago to adorn "someit"...

We'd need watson to build a pizza oven. And knockando to taste test.
 
I would love to taste-test an EADD psychedelic pizza! I've just finished my own one (a delicious pepperoni and mushroom) and it seems to have an afterglow!

Either that or the poppy tea and mxe are working their magic.
 
It's half 9 in the morning, it's a choice between thai food or Maccy Dees breakfast. I think the Maccy Dees is gonna win.
