I've been eating. Left over yorkshire puddings, you know the really shit ones 20 for a quid or whatever. Crap in comparison to the proper ones my mother in law cooks when she could be bothered. Lazy cow. What is this world coming too.

Anyway important and relevant stuff: We are Shrek fans, 1 and 2 are certifiable classics, 3 is lame and four is utter shite although the animation is utterly superb. Going to the cinema to see how the cgi has come on in terms of depth and clarity is amazing. Also have an excuse to go. Yeah love Ice Age, scrat is the best thing in it we think. Kung Fu Panda is another classic, we love that, so pretty aswell, shame about the dire follow up. Cars is great and I was surprised how much I liked that as I was expecting it to be a lot more child orientated judging by the look of it, also my little GIRL loved it. Cars. A girl. Sequel to that was a bit poor sadly.

Do you get the DVD's because if you download pixar always include a short animated piece that was intended to proceed the cinematic release. They are always great for visual quality because I read somewhere when writing or designing such scenes they try to focus on something that either couldn't be done with the technology until then or do something using new softwares or techniques. I love those shorts mate, how old is your boy? 7 I think you've said, a bit too old for Toy Story perhaps. If you download your stuff then you will be able to find those shorts all bundled together. I/we highly recommend you do, theres a lot of stuff your boy will love.

Nomnom. I cooked some raspberry flapjacks, which I'm now eating with slices of banana and double cream.
 
Just munched 'pon a honeyroast ham and oakeysmokey cheddar toastie wiv Branston pickle in in, innit. Very tasty. Although I managed to pick it up at an odd angle with too much pressure thus twanging lomticks of Branston across the room. Was quite impressive actually. Never woulda thunk that bits of vinegary swede 'n' beetroot 'n stuffs could be coaxed to such balletic leaps. Live and learn, eh? :)

I like a strong woman but I'm not a fan of flesh, if it ever gets to the point Missis MM struggles to get into a size 10 she's out. But she's already told me I'm out if I start finding a 32" waist a bit snug.....I think I'll be out on me ear before her...:D

Haha, I'm...significantly larger than that (size 14 trousers size none of your fucking business top) and me woman is a size 8. I dunno how I bagged her ha. Weirdly tho she complains about her weight (anorexic as a teen), constantly asks me how she looks (fucking lovely, curvy but slim) but then tells me, with genuine honesty, that I have a good figure and she likes how I look naked. Crazy to me, but I guess that's that particular mindset for you.

Can't man cider and black any more, was £2 a pint at our on campus bar last year but uhhhh yeah no more.

To get vaguely on topic, I am planning either spag bol, burritos, orrrrr um pork chop and a fried egg for dinner. Probably all of the above :P Fortunately for me my fat bastard-ry is caused mostly by overdoing the booze as a yute so I can get away with eating shit loads if I stay off the fucking cider. Lost nearly two stone since Christmas so I think the lack of booze may become a permanent fixture. Or I'll start plugging it.

Oh lordy, I wonder why he specifically went for sherry too? It's not like he'd taste it! Shooting up it is, then ;)

edit: Was gonna call you a posho for eating those but they look bloody tasty and a quid is damn good going. Similarly I am chuffed I did a two week shop for about 12 quid, got enough meat and whatnot to last ages. Woop :D

Never got a weeks shopping for that much even when I catch plentiful double reduced stickers. Prices are outrageous in lil places like this though. No bleedin' competetion so they can charge what they like. Used to piss me right off seeing adverts on telly, trotting off to the shop only to discover local "special" prices are especially special cos they're way more than they would be if I lived in civilisation :!

Always wondered what that "Selected stores only" bit was for in the small print :\

Also, IV alcohol? Meh. Really not much fun. Unless you like getting all spinny of head, passing out/throwing up then coming round to the hangover to end all hangovers. And all within the space of half an hour or so. Stick to bumrushing it, Snolls. Although perhaps not fortified wine by the litre :D
 
Spaghetti with a fresh home-made cheese and mushroom sauce (cheddar, stilton, garlic, mushrooms and double cream, plus some herbs). It's delicious :) And so easy. I used to buy those four cheese sauces from the supermarket, I won't do that ever again, this is much tastier and took no time to prepare.
 
Then I will cautiously concur with your claims of deliciousness :)

And ya, homemade cheesy sauces are vastly superior to shop bought ones. Even a jarsauceslut like me can't argue that one. I do make a damn fine cheesy sauce, mind, so would say that. Stilton is a fine choice for boosting the cheesiness too. Cheddar alone can be a tad meh even if it's really good cheddar. Slosh of white wine is also great for added yumminess. In the sauce as well as the chef.
 
There was in fact more stilton in it than cheddar, it was just to bulk it out really! On the mushrooms, not only were they finely chopped but also fried in olive oil before adding the rest of ingredients. So no chunks of mushroom. Is that why you insist on finely chopped? Chunks of mushroom in a sauce are just a bit odd, I think. Or is it to do with the flavour? More surface area to release the goodness into the sauce?

And yeah I was keenly aware of the absence of white wine throughout the process, and didn't feel like risking using the red I do have kicking about.
 
Is mainly the texture actually, Knock. Am very funny about food textures. Hate slimy food in particular. Mushrooms are slimy and make me heave. But don't actually taste all that bad. Have similar issues with bananas for similar reasons. In both cases they need to be distributed in such a manner as to disguise their presence but release their flavour.

Next time its being called Aubergine Parmigiana as that sounds way nicer than 'Bake'. I actually didn't want to use that much cheese as a topping so mixed a few pots of low fat yogurt with some garlic, cumin, paprika and some cheddar - Gives a really nice taste and texture :). My cooking is a bit of a mixed bag to be honest :) - really depends on what I fancy, what I have in the fridge, how long I have.

Curry is my personal fave though :D
