What are you munching on in EADD? v back teeth and cheeks

^ sounds fancy. I bought an aubergine the other day. I'm going to get my son into the ways of the aubergine.

Currently, i 'm living life on the edge as I munch and slurp my way through a pot noodle with a best before date of feb 13 :)
For afters I'm having a just add hot water and stir cornmeal porridge.

Which reminds me that I also have a delicious locally crafted spiced bun.

Strange how the balsamic has held it's shape in that way. Presuming it is balsamic and not treacle. Treacle on salad would be a bit weird.

After reading about the Roast Duck the other day, I decided to give it a try. So - Roast Duck, Garlic Spuds and Braised Cabbage.

Aubergines are really tasty and one my weekly shopping list - I really enjoy them roast and then mashed up with garlic and onion etc (Im sure I uploaded a photo of it the other day :D). Baba Ganoush or something like that :D. I can't remember the last time I had a Pot Noodle - they used to be pure Sodium :D
 
I'm not a fan of aubergines, I'll eat them in a ratatouille but they're a bit slimy. Much slimier than mushrooms. And quite a bitter taste.

I made a new cream and cheese sauce for my pasta: chopped red pepper, chopped black olives, fried in olive oil, let it cool down a bit, added double cream, garlic purée, Gorgonzola and a bit of cheddar. Melted it all down, added some black pepper and "Italian herbs" and then mixed it up with the fresh tagliatelle which I'd had cooking in the meantime.

Pretty fucking tasty. Fresh home made pasta sauces are win! Though once again white wine would not have gone amiss.

Not sure what all this cream and cheese is going to do for my waistline though :|

yeah you did! and I couldn't remember the name of the similar Turkish dish, but I've just remembered it, Imam Bayildi (translates as the imam fainted) , apparently the imam fainted because the aubergine dish was so fucking good.

I'm happy to sample your baba ganoush and you can rename it if I faint.

Ive just had some late night gnocchi and pesto, so filling and takes literally 2 minutes on the boil. Think my stomachs just about adjusted to english food again, some really nice places in warsaw. The service is so much better aswell, they sure know a good portion as well they are enough to feed 4.

Nice big large polish sausage and some sort of compost (it was very nice though) served by girls wearing german uniforms? of some sort, and then 1 litres of zywiec for around £1.30, 40pence shots and they stay open till you leave :D

Was located in the old town somewhere...

Deal - Mind you Mailmonkey fainted doesn't have the same ring to it.
 
I had a veggy (Aubergine, mushroom, Onions, Tomato,) sarnie and chips :D. (Grilled the bread and rubbed with a garlic clove before covering with a Rocket Pesto and topped off with Cheese and grilled). Chips had Paprika and Cumin on them !

I'm eating 2 large smoked haddock fillets, 2 poached eggs, and a shitload of granary bread. And more coffee.
 
Yoghurt, blueberries and kratom. Lunch nom.

Mendo_k - nice photos of Warsaw there! I was surprised how pretty the place was when I visited. Good food too. :D
 
sirloin steak in a pepper sauce with fried mushrooms and onions, boiled new potatoes and salad.

Pretty good.

red wine to wash it down.
