Just lots and lots of water today after last nights shenanigans. I think i drank half of Scotland last night.

It was Single Malt. The Macallan (sp) that did the damage. Are tatie scones what we call potato cake or potato scallops? Fried potato circles? If so i have had one on a bacon and egg roll. I dont have a hang over today but i might get one. I dont think i can get them to black pudding on it though. Sausage i could handle. Aussies LOVE sausages!http://www.scotch-whisky.org.uk/what-we-do/facts-figures/
Consumer I hope it was Scotch and not some Thia brand or the like. Was it blended, that gives you a worse hangover. A single malt is more expensive but somehow doesn't make me projectile vomit as much, or tell you I love you then the next second want to give yeh a Wedgie kiss...
If you can't get tattie scones where you are we'll need to sort that out. Makes all the difference in that egg bacon roll trust me8)
I like a small glass of good port at the end of a dinner. Got to try a 1955 Taylors port at a wine dinner recently. It was superb. So many layers of flavour and yes very sweet. One glass is enough for me. I have tried Seppeltfield 100 Year old Port a few times. Its the only wine in the world released every year aged 100 years. Almost like treacle. Extremely powerfully flavoured. Absolutely devine. Uber expensive.I had a glass of port. Gifted to us (thank you). It's the first time I've tried port and have to say it was lovely but not something you could drink a lot of, too sweet. I can see why some mix it with lemon or lemonade.
It tasted like a mix of red wine and a sweet sherry.
I'm now onto tonic water with slices of lemon in it. No caffeine for me this late and no more alcohol. I've been doing booze free weeks and only splashing out at the weekend... alas that should possibly read "binge" out.
