What Are You Drinking? V2. Frosty Jacks - For The Discerning Pisshead

Have tried a couple of the Brew Dog beers and all been good so far. Also sampled a couple of the Drygate range recently. Realy enjoyed the Gladeye IPA but must admit I found the Apple Ale too sweet for my taste. Interesting idea all the same and good to see innovation and experimentation. Mostly I'd say worth buying just for the label artwork though =D

I'm very partial to many an IPA myself, but my Good Lady tends to agree with you that they are too unbalanced. Even she has enjoyed some of the locally brewed ones I've been working my way through up here though. Some really good quality beers around these days - and an outstanding degree of variety.

Having said that I am currently drinking...

... which is just delish <3

In related news, I also made a belter of a banana (and walnut) loaf t'other day. First time I've ever made it and it really is rather good. Even if I do say so myself :o

Frosty Jacks on the go here. topped with a cherry cordial. To be honest been awake a while now and everything tastes like shit so its all good! However i would slap a disabled person for a bellini right now..

Frosty Jacks is the Christ of ciders - an immaculate conception as such; the cider birthed without the need for apples.

That looks really nice - I'm glad your bread came out well, I get a great sense of achievement when cooking (and it turns out nice :D).
Vodka and coke :D

Been on water and juice for a month now:(

Taking 200mg Fluconazole a day for six weeks to finish off a nasty fungal infection of my arse crack and inner thighs/ballsack that just wouldn't quit for a year . Medicated powder and topical creams would just tame it but would come roaring back if I missed even one application.

The fruits of spending 84 hours a week sweat soaked.

Fluconazole got rid of it in 8 days, but it's recommended to finish the six week course.

Unfortunately it doesn't go well with alcohol, among a great many other things, so I'm a very sober boy and it's pissing me off:|

Kopparberg's frozen fruit cider is the king of ciders imo, the elderflower one.

Drinking a big bottle of smirnoff ice lemonade. Trying to get the foul, sweaty stink of something fume-ey out of my mouth that came through my mask. I think I need to change filters. Ew. Tastes like nasty sweaty unwashed socks smell.

Aye the elderflower one is quite nice. I don't like the really fruity ones.

The Nordic berry one is decent, too.

Shit day at work, mainly due to a corn on my toe and a difficult to manage client.

This calls for wine. I am thinking pinot noir. Fragrant, silky and all things good. Now the decision is Australian, Kiwi, French or American. Or completely change track and go Italian barolo or chianti classico. Decisions Decisions. Into the wine cave i go.

Sounds wonderful. The weather s starting to change here so I'll be switching from rose d'anjou and chardonnay to wine with more flavor at room temp. Maybe starting with Bogle Petite Syrah.

Some of our people hail from there. Glad you're enjoying it.

From Tuscany, what can I say. It tastes like I should be on a marble veranda with wafts of lemon and cypress trees after a delicious rabbit and olive stew.

One can dream :)
