Found in the shop I very rarely go to (actually the garage at t'other end of town) and just sampling. Lot lighter than others perhaps unsurprisingly. Lot weaker too but tastes good. Not quite sure about the "tropical notes" claimed on the label but the fact it's made with "galaxy hops" is definitely a bonus.

(only got one bottle not three but more manageable pic size with the triplets)
 
just had a few cans of red stripe and am now drinking a nice Cornish bitter.
 
I could never get along with Red Stripe despite it being wot all the kewl kidz drank. Sweet lager - ick. Sweet lager that ain't 9%+ - double ick. You can get away with sickly if your percentage is stratospheric but don't get it at all for standard lager. It's meant to be crisp and dry not sickly. YMMV and all that.

And for the sake of the thread.. lychee wine. No, I've no idea either, but it tastes a bit like mead.
 
Lychee wine? Bought from a shop or homemade? Only dimly recall what lychees taste like so can't imagine if they'd make good wine or not. Mead is the tits though so sounds good to me =D

Also welcoming back Ms Straight... or Ms Gay... hard to Mstify a name like that without causing potential offence even if you happen to know the most likely answer.
 
Bought from the local Chinese supermarket.. tis remarkably drinkable though. And no, I've no idea what lychees taste of either.

I can see living with boozy parents is going to be a problem. :sus:

Heloooo ladies/gents ;)

I had a Delirium Red the other day and it was amazing. 8.5% Belgian cherry beer - heaven
 
Malbec from Lidl - it's absolutely fucking gorgeous! One of the nicest wines I've ever had and only £6 a bottle. Definitely going to stock up if there's still some left tomorrow (though they were almost out tonight:( )

Vaguely like pears from memory but may well be a a very poor excuse for a memory bearing little relation to reality. Only had 'em tinned as I recall which may have summat to do with it. Probably canned in pear juice 8)

That sounds great. I've been quite fond of fruity drinks this year. Very refreshing in the sunshine so they are.

homebrew all nite, IPAs n Bitters. need to start brewing a few lower ABV beers, most of my beers are 5.5/6% and ciders are 7/8%
