Had half a bottle of Wolf Blass Shiraz last night, quite nice. Only had a pint glass clean so used that. This morning I see there's a dead woodlouse in the small qty of wine left at the bottom of the glass. I don't remember it from last night, but how the fuck did it get in? The sides if the glass slope outwards, so there's no way it climbed in. And I've never seen a woodlouse on a ceiling; walls, yes, but they fall pretty easy (i've interfered with a few).
The remaining alternatives aren't very nice, especially the one involving the cat, but the simplest explanation is it arrived in the wine. What should I do with the rest of the bottle? It cost £10!
