Can hardly bear to watch at the moment. Duminy's the danger man. Nice to see smith take a knee in the face :-D

Onions is a hero. Well played Bell and Collingwood too. They held it together brilliantly.

I understand what you're saying about the 20/20 potentially ruining the game of test cricket but to be honest it's all a matter of opinion. I think the reason why football is so big in comparison to cricket is because of the fast paced nature of the game, only 90 mins to decide an outcome which allows any team to get lucky and win.

They're trying to do the same with cricket, less overs, bigger shots, more wickets which is more of what people want to see instead of the grind that is test cricket. There is skill with the 20/20 side of things as well but you're right it doesn't compare to test.

I personally love both formats of the game and don't think either will replace one another as they are just two totally different things.

But that's why cricket is so appealing. :)

20/20 can easily ruin the Test game. Players are will be more inclined to concentrate on that form of the game because of the greater financial rewards.

Great week for Test cricket - two marvellous, gripping southern hemisphere Tests.

The Aussie - Pakistan one was a game of two halves, Brian.

That's why I love Test cricket. I can get up and go have a piss, have a sneaky bump, grab some more beers for the boys and quickly catch the score from the game down the road and at worse all I have missed is one wicket by the time I get back to my seat ;) I can even spend the day shopping with the girl safe in the knowledge that I can catch the next 3-4 days..

Nice to see a more even playing field across all the Test nations now. Nothing between India, Sri Lanka, SA, England and Australia after so many one sided series in the past 10 years. Even the West Indies showed signs of having turned the corner despite losing 2-0 to Australia. Unfortunately Pakistan couldn't win a xmas cracker. Might be a different story if anyone was keen to play them at home.

I couldn't agree more! :) And cocaine cricket FTW! :)
