We Love Cricket Thread 2nd Innings

ipl is corrupt and ruinous. a freakshow for hasbeen past masters and bludgeoners like chris gayle. gayle, who was average at best in test cricket and lacked the technique to consistantly produce against the best. poor man's viv richards - yet he seemingly breaks records at will in the ipl, the ipl bradman. but look, the derogation of batting technique is already taking place, so that india can field better. i mean, already people are forgetting daddy hundreds, how to build an innings etc. test grounds worldwide stand empty ('sides england and australia to lesser extent) ipl is anathema to test cricket longterm

i disagree about ipl , yes its pajama cricket and allededly corrupt * but its actually shaping the way other forms of cricket are being played now and I Fear england will be left behind , at least commercially

bangladesh think nothing of cracking out 5 runs per over in some test matches now as a lot of their players are now strictly playing more 20/20 than other forms

and when you look at the rate that indian batsmen like Virat Kohli can score runs now in ALL forms, it really leaves our pedestrian english test match players in the shade

in short they are bringing a faster run rate to all other forms of cricket whilst england plod along with their pedestrian " pidgeon on the pitch" run rates

look for the name Tamim Iqbal

one of the best batsmen coming down the pipeline now and most of the cricket he has learned is 20/20
test rankings are all fixed anyways, we all know that

bcci from india is scared that anyone will beat their precious india, they are nothing but a bully boy for world cricket
Crickets all money now, this is why the ECB HATES KP.

KP is Just as good as Dhoni, yet Dhoni earned £23 million last year while KP kicks his heels and sucks the cocks of the ECB for the glory of the " Ashes"
 
Brimz do you not think KP is just as good as Dhoni ? I think he is

Dhoni is not half the batsman Kohli is, his only selling point is he plays wicket a bit and looks like a model( not that im a buftie, copyright trainspotting)

I think its lame the way the ECB is stopping KP from making as much ££ as Dhoni does, if i were him i would quit england and play IPL and spend the rest of my 45 weeks a year banging that hot wife he has and cracking out centuries in the IPL
