WARNING: Death due to bunk pill it seems (Off White Playboy Bunny - May/June 2002)

Many condolances to anyone who happened to know this person but it should be a strong reminder to everyone about the dangers involved with buying pills of people you dont know. Whether it be on the street, at a rave etc, testing it can tell you that it may contain mdma, but how do you know what else is in there? My advice to EVERYONE out there is that you only buy of people you know and TRUST, your not just dealing with a good night and hard-earned money, you are trusting these people with your life. It may very well be a pill with a reputation (at the present momment in time) but how do you know that it's not some dodgy motherfucker who's got a press and wants to make some quick money, not caring about the consequences. My opinion is that the best way to be safe is to go through someone you know and trust. My friends and i all do this and we are still alive.
Once again, very sorry to hear the terrible news that one of us is gone

bwaaha.. the amount of "rat poision" that could be fitted in a pill along with the binders, and the mdma would have no effect on a human.. My cockatoo ate a butt load of little rat poisen pills once and had no trouble.
Plus why the fuck would they want to put rat poisen in good mdma pills. thats just stupid.

Muzby that's one hell of a blanket generalisation to make in what's supposed to be an intelligent resource for drug discussion.
It could also be argued that this could have happened BECAUSE 'drugs' (In this case 3,4 Methylenedioxy -n- Methamphetamine) are NOT legal and hence not regulated.
We also have no idea of other factors involved in the death, and no explanation seems forthcoming. So refrain from blaming 'drugs' as the direct cause. Its almost always your choice to take them or not.

i don't but pills from people i don't know anyways, and when i do but pills i always but a few so i can test them all the same!
u never know one day u might buy a few test one and they are all from diff batches, and one of u gets fucked!
be super cafefull with pills theses days people, were not dealing with the same creaters as if we are getting blue fish any more....mmmmm blue fish lol

Partly true, I would highly doubt rat poison is a binder of choice however... There are much more practical (and harmless) substances out there, keeping in mind its hardly in the best interests of any pill manufacturer to kill its client base on purpose.

Sorry buddy, but unfortunately neither of those nasty substances is going to show up in a reagent test. This aside, the "glass in pills" scenario is one that (to the extent of my knowlege) is only based on one documented case some years ago in the US. I am not saying it may never happen, but using it as the basis for reactionary statements seems somewhat unjustified.
If anything, one runs the greatest risk when taking pills via such factors as dangerous drug combinations and interactions, improper chemical synths, chemical precipitates from the production remaining in the final product, and completely different substances being masqueraded as MDMA. In these situations a tester can provide but a partial means to reduce potential harm, however regardless you still shoulder significant risk whenever you take a pill.

Very sad indeed to hear the passing of Rebecca. I can only only pass on my most deep condolances.
The risks in taking popular street drugs at times can give the illusion that what we do is safe. But it is unfortunate that it often takes tragic events like this to remind us otherwise.

I think some of you (if your name starts with "sublim.." anything) are shining examples that perhaps drug use can, in some cases, cause distinct mental retardation (or for those of you with a poor command of the english language - "make you go silly dumb dumbs".)
RIP - Keep things like this in the back of your mind everytime you think of buying off someone dodgy or dropping untested pills. Were any other drugs taken? 1 pill alone causing death is... rare.

this is one messed up situation.
firstly, if you read the original report it states that loveable purchased the pill off a 'friend', not a cockle bay dealer.
not that i am in anyway defending a cockle bay dealer, they stock nothing but crap.
it seems that she met har friend at 'the' club and moved on to gas where things went bad. how could a friend sell a shit pill to you? if a friend sold me a shit pill, a bloodbath will ensue. the fact that this pill caused a death is a million times worse. did the friend sell a bunch of crap pills so he/she could afford a good night on good pills? how have other friends reacted towards this guy/gal? ---snip--- if you do choose to do drugs, find a dealer who uses his own product, test before you buy, and buy before you head out, and budget how many you need for the night. don't buy 1 when you know last week you had 6 and barely peaked. you'll only end up scoring crap. BUT there is the odd club dealer who has the gear, you just got to find them and have a good look, and taste of the pill. maybe even carry a tester with you, if possible.

Come on, there is a good chance the friend didn't know the pills contained pma (that's what they say caused her death in the pillreport). It sounds like the friend is taking it personally so there's no point abusing them now. The friend may have tested them and they tested ok (if it was a mdxx/pma combo), or could have taken them before and not been able to tell the effects were pma and not mdxx. It's the makers of pma (DIRTY SCUM) who you should direct your anger towards. And even the government is partially to blame for not allowing GC testing so we know just how often pma is contained in pills. Someone who did their friend a favour by getting them a pill is not the person who caused her death (unless they knew it was pma but didn't tell their friend).
Has anyone tested these pills to see whether they test for just pma or a mdxx/pma combo or something?
Please dob in pma dealers if you know of any who knowingly sell pma as mdxx pills. You're probably saving peoples lives by doing so.

Ummm, yes we are dealing with the same creators, pma has been sold as mdxx for at least 6-10 years! For all you know you could have taken it on several occassions!
Also, there are reports of a few playboy bunny pills around australia with differing effects. PMA has very different effects on different people, so be aware that it is possible they could be the same pills even if the effects don't sound the same.
