there's 30 most wanted :D 10 on each island

I anticipated as much. 10/30 done.

now those flying rats are a pain in the arse, even with a map, they're really hard to spot.

I've found myself absolutely addicted to getting a bunch of people together in party mode killin each other off, then heading to Cops and Crooks or Team Deathmatch.

Anytime I'm not at a job, I'm sitting on my ass playing this game.

On one of the missions you get an outfit that has LSD written on the back (I assume it stands for Liberty city Sanitation Department) so I always wear that now :D
Im so pisse doff there's no clan support for the online. Im in a clan called LSD in a few other games. It would of been awsome if we could have all wore them jackets in online games together.

I've gotten to story complete. Is there any rewards apart from game percent completed for the pigeons, the vigilante missions and bums to avoid etc etc. etc.

Roman mentions Vice City on the phone before one of the last missions. How do you get to Vice City?

Wait a year until the next game comes out.

That, or take 95-S until you see signs for "Port of Vice City"

Apparently you can go to Vice City.....

apparently how? 100% and no sign here :D
There's a chance that some of the DLC content (out in November I think) could be another Island but as of now there's no way

haha I'm actually at 97.5% the last 2.5% is the rest of the flying rats, I have about 120/200, I gave up about 2 days before the key to the city deadline as killing the flying rats is so annoying and boring. I found all the other side missions and jumps fun though, just these bastard pigeons.

Little help please (tech question)

As far as I'm aware the pS 3 version of GTA IV displays in 1080p HD...according to all manner of facts and numbers on the box etc.

But for some reason whenever I start it up, the load screen begins and my TV displays 'HDMI 1 1080p... stereo".. then as the actual game begins (load from last save point) and it says "HDMI 1 720p... stereo". Which suggests that my TV recognises a 1080p resolution source, but fails to display it during gameplay, reducing it to 720p. Is this normal?

I was wondering if anyone knows of some sort of setting or menu option that I would need to adjust. Not that it'd make a discernable difference, but I'd like to experience it the way it was intended.

Other relevant info: I'm playing a copy of GTA I bought in America, but being region-free this shouldn't have any impact on my Australian PS3. ALso I haven't had this problem with Call of Duty 4 or Ninja Gaiden Sigma- both will actually play the game in 1080p, (as I'm informed by the television).

Back to it then... stats- addiction level = "that's some good shit!" (so fucking true:))

Does the exact same thing on my PS3 but I thought 720p was the maximum resolution for it.

EDIT: Just checked the box and it does indeed say 1080p. I'll see if there's a resolution setting.

EDIT(2): No resolution setting. They've fucked us over!
