Finally managed to find a copy on Monday, had to get it in Belfast (I like the references to the troubles in the game :D). At first I thought 'gah, it's over hyped!'. Then I got into it more and it's brilliant. Just tried the Bank Job, got killed in the subway but it wasn't too hard so I think I'll do it this next time.

this game is fuckin amazing !! i had to wait a week after it was released before the local bootleggers had it for sale ($10! woot woot), but it was entirely WELL worth it!

too bad that mario kart wii came out around the same time. i cant decide which one i wanna play more. i LOVE hooking up a 12 player WFC race i just cant wait till if/when wii introduces a headset, so i can talk to you fuckers when i kick ass (or when im getting my ass kicked, heh)

Anyone else set out on accomplishing missions, then just end up fucking off, raising your wanted level, seeing how many wanted stars you can escape, then taking a boat to a part of the map you're not allowed to just to get the full wanted level and see how long til you get off'd?

Just so you know I checked and it is indeed 46"

An xbox 360 is 12" wide and he has one down there. If you measure the 360 using your finger or paper or whatever you'll see that it is roughly 4x bigger diagonally than the 360 which would be 48" so 46" is legit.

Has anyone beat the game yet or broken 90%?

I honestly got bored of the game because there was nothing really that new happening in the plot or gameplay wise. I'm at like 55% or something. I'll definitely beat it someday though.

I would be playing like every day if the multiplayer meeting was done correctly. I have no doubt they're aware of the issue and it will be fixed in a patch. I'm sure it was on their list of "to dos" but got tossed out to release earlier.
