I didnt have class today and spent about 12hours playing this today. [edited out]. It's 12:20am right now and I just went outside for the first time today to smoke a cig my 360 is off and i am tempted to play more but it's time for bed got class early. This game is so fucken rad.

The game is so raw. At first I was a little disappointed with the sluggish controls making the game difficult and all, but eventually I was able to get used to them (mostly, driving can still be a bitch, although it has improved for me). Now I see why this has been rated as the best game ever by some. The depth of the city is incredible, and I'm still on the early missions.
 
I think I'm just used to GTA controls being second nature. I haven't had as much time to play as I'd like, but I seem to be getting used to driving and fighting and the game is getting more enjoyable.

I think they did a really good job with Niko's personality. He's an easily likeable guy.

OK I've broken through the awkward barrier with this game, and it's terrific. OMFG, get your hands on a truck and let the hilarity ensue! =D I went to a strip club, got a disturbingly realistic lap dance and then I chased the strippers outside and shot the bouncers! It was glorius :D

I love how he goes right through the windscreen if you smash the car into something hard at high speed!


Oh yeah, and cheating tolls, that's fun too, especially in a truck.
 
Am loving this game, think I'm about a third or more so through though so have decided to slow down and play some multiplayer.

GTA Race + motorbikes is amazing :D
 
like the other gtas i'm meticulously approaching the game and doing the taxi missions first. done a handful so far.

my buddy brought his copy over last nigth and let me play for a few hours
tons of fun, i timed it just right so that gamefly sent me a copy and i should be getting it tomorrow. i also have a 5% discount and $5 off so i can buy the game for like 42 dollars. awesome.
 
Man it takes forever to get to algonquin. I've been playing for 15 hours and I'm still not there yet. I've been taking my time, but still, goddamn. Any one over to algonquin yet?
 
15 hours and you're still not there? Damn. I want to get there and buy new clothes. The russian shop is lame, I'm tired of looking like a pervy old man.

Also, I suck at motorcycles :(
 
i never buy games (except things like halo3 etc) so is this game worth it? the reviews seem to say so.

as long as you have a pistol or mp5/micro uzi just press the L shoulder button to smash out the window then press it again to fire out the window, it's a little hard to control driving and free-aiming the gun at the same time.
