Moral Decay

i wouldn't go that far. if temazepam can cause brain damage, then i'm confident other benzos can aswell. if not valium, then other strong hypnotics for sure. there cant be that big of difference (at least no between temazepam and other strong hypnotics like nitrazepam, triazolam, etc).
This is guessing and in no way scientific fact. I have NEVER read anything about Valium or Xanax causing brain damage and they have been around for a long time
- Valium been on the market since 1963, Valium use peaked in 1978; selling 2.3 million tablets.
- Xanax been on the market since 1981, cant find any hard data but I believe xanax is at its peak NOW.
- Temazepam has been on the market since 1969, Temazepam use peaked in 1980; not sure the number of tablets sold.
I have read that temazepam is damaging to tissue but have not read anything to that effect about Valium or Xanax. Valium is the oldest and most widely used benzodiazapine used since the 60's and has shown no proof of brain damage in that time. The point here is that just because one drug in a class of drugs is neurotoxic does NOT mean another is. I'm sorry but your best guess and logic are flawed.
