UH oH, Basic favorite exercise Thread!?

aanallien, do you have any pics you could post? Im really curious as to what you like.

Yep BingalPaws I totally know how you feel LOL. Watching people do partial or cheating reps on any exercise with too much weight just makes me smirk or shake my head. Any exercise I do I make sure to do complete repetitions and on most exercises I make sure to make very slow controlled movements. For example on Curls, I hardly do very much weight - maybe like 95 lb barbell maximum but I go through the entire range of motion (all the way down to elbow lockout and all the way up) and make sure to go very slow to get a good contraction without involving my back muscles at all. Other people go and load up a EZbar with 45 lb plates and start swinging that shit around and if you look at their bicep, its contracted the entire time at a fixed angle and they are working their back (badly) more than anything in their arms. I'm just like "wtf are they thinking."

Anyway here are some pics.. its not really possible to take pics of yourself flexing and I live alone right now so here's me just chilling:

This was me last year with a full upper body pump going on (think I had done chest/back/shoulders that day). I'm bigger than this with no pump now so I'm making good progress:

Nice man keep up the good work. How much you weigh now? I'm at 255 today so I still have a ways to go for my goal.

When I started in April 07, I was 163 lbs...I fluctuate around 180-190..Trying to pack on some serious lean mass then cut some fat for Spring Break.

c'mon parooler, put them up over there, I'm all curious now to see them!! I'd say it'd be a good idea to have a muscle pic thread here in the steroid subby but, given the nature of bl, I'm sure most aren't too into putting their bodies up here lol.

75!? DAMN! Nicely done, nicely done!!!

Thanks, I'm always cut like that though, I never have to do cuts (well, when I wrestled yeah but not for getting fat off, I've had a six pack my entire life), it's always just the struggle for the next 5lbs!!

Very nice!! Shoulders seem a tad lacking relative to everything else but great size and proportions!! How're your wheels, or are you more of an upper body guy?

Dude, actually my shoulders are my best asset...I need to take a pic on shoulder/trap day.....

I have naturally skinny legs but am starting to pack some serious mass on them....I do legs twice a week to compensate...When i began, squatting 135 was a chore, now 225 is becoming easier and easier....What I really want is a 6 pack and to work more on my forearms which I fool around with every other day or so.......

Any of you guys consider AAS? I want a few more years of traiing under my belt, but I'd like to try a Test Ent. ONLY cycle for 12 weeks when I'm older...

I don't even think I need them to be honest.

I'm fairly confident that if I can keep up with the 5k cals/day I can hit 280 within a year completely natural. But I think I have really good genetics for lifting. I do a LOT of volume and frequency and still don't ever get to the point where I feel like I'm overtraining.

The one thing I'm realizing is that I was under eating the entire time. I was maybe hitting 3k cals/day on occasion when I should have been at 4-5k. I'm realizing just how much food 5k cals is and its a little insane.... 4lbs chicken breast and 5 cups of rice (before being cooked) is only like 4k cals or so..
