U.S. decrees that marijuana has no accepted medical use

When his patients turn up dirty for pot he doesn't give a f*ck. He says the same thing that public opinion is changing and it makes these politicians look like the true liars they are. (Both Sides).
if my sub doc and 'done clinic cared about pot use, i might be in a worse situation. since they allowed me to use the green medicine, i was able to get off of opiates with pot's help. and it did help. i swear to the gods it's been one of the most useful medicines in my entire life, perhaps the most.

Their argument hinges on the fact that the cannabis plant itself has not gone through the process of FDA approval for the treatment of a disease. I think every drug on their schedules 2-5 has either gone through this process or (for older compounds) has an uninterrupted pattern of official medical use in the US.

That argument, of course, is somewhat apart from the discussion of whether or not cannabis should be de-scheduled. Descheduling is potentially much faster than medicalizing (as with the 21st amendment).

Also, if the FDA approves Sativex, it essentially approves a strain of cannabis.

Thanks for the explanation, so their argument is that it has no accepted medical use because they haven't shown it to have one 8(
