Game Two Lies and a Truth

My first job was working at a Wetzel Pretzel.

I played bass in a punk band as a teen.

My net worth is 5 million dollars.

I didn't google if there is such a thing as Wetzel Pretzel, but guess lying about that would be too obvious. Still think the whole statement is a lie.

The net worth has to be lie, or a huge coincidence. Because it might be 5.2 million, or 10 million, or 567.23 dollars.

I go with number two,the link band, as the truth.

Ohh my fault, I thought it was 2 truths and a lie! Not 2 lies and a truth lol. So fyi 2 of these are true and only one is a lie.

The first one is a lie. My first job wasn’t at Wetzel Pretzel, it was at Spearmint Rhino the week of my 18th birthday. Lmao. I was really in a punk band as a teenager and according to google my net worth actually is 5 million lol

No one here knows me yet so this should be interesting.

I was born and raised in New Orleans.

I have been on multiple television shows, including Howard Stern.

I didn't use drugs until I was in my 20s.

I hope it’s #2. I just took note of a thread that questioned the “weirdest way someone would get high that you ever heard of” or something like that. That would be one of them. :)
That was a thread I started. I used to work in a store for scientologists. Doing a niacin flush was pretty common for people with sunburns. I can't say I've ever tried it but I guess it works.

My number one choice for the truth: The shows. I've worked in TV show business and know some people appear on them quite often, both as part of just as spectators.
My number one lie: The drugs. Just a hunch.
As some out two truths instead of two lies, I leave New Orleans open. No way to guess without going through all your posts.

I'll just tell you. You wouldn't find the answer in posts anyway. I was born and raised in Clearwater, FL. I started using drugs when I was 12. So you are correct about the shows. I had a fairly unique experience in that I lived in one of the first 'Internet houses' back in the 90s. Think 'Big Brother' before big brother was a thing. I was probably one of the original cam girls. But we did lots of publicity. Magazines, talk shows, news, Howard Stern was just one of many. HBO, playboy, current affair, extra, the Jennie Jones show, and even court tv. The house had cameras all over. Most were mounted to the walls so they became as common as a piece of art. You got used to it, didn't even realize they were there half the time. I lived there a little over a year between 98-99.

Just realized the amount of typos in my answer 😬
But then I was barely awake when I wrote that.
@rentedbythehour I worked in the casting division for a production company. That's how I know that there are people who appear on several shows, sometimes as themselves, but sometimes as someone different (like court tv).

I hated doing the TV shows. I don't know why I was picked to do them. There were only 2 of us who traveled to do shows, like Jennie Jones or court tv. We were ourselves, no acting involved. Court tv was because the city of Tampa tried to shut down the house. Said it was an adult business in a residential neighborhood. It was a pretty big thing and I think ended up setting precedent in law at the time.
All the other shows, magazines, etc came to the house so everyone was involved. It was definitely an experience living there. One I wouldn't change.
Oh and I did actually live in New Orleans for a short period of time. Great place to visit, not so much to live there. I was 20 and made it a whole 6 months before I left.

On a completely different note, I kinda grew up in a television studio. My dad worked for the Christian television station in FL. Whenever I was sick or had to stay home, I would go to the station with him. There are lots of times I was an audience member on the shows they filmed there, sometimes a participant in the kids shows. I wish I could find some of those shows now. I'm sure they're posted somewhere on the Internet, but we're talking 80s.

1 - LIE!
I only got to see an A-lister's dog. It belonged to some older movie star, the name of which I don't remember. I was 11, and visiting NYC with my mom.
2 - LIE!
Though it's true that I got invited to a famous artist's party, I declined. His parties were known to end up in orgies, with all his model and artist friends high on coke and whatever. My best friend worked for him, organizing (serious) events.
3 - TRUE
Again a a child, we once got stuck in an airport, and were given a free lunch ticket by the airline. A German singer (Roberto Blanco) was scheduled for the same flight, and somehow he and mom got into a convo and we all ended up having that free lunch together.

1 was a lie. I did use heroin for a while around 2011-2013 but I mostly smoked and sometimes snorted it

2 was a lie. I have used niacin in the past but to help with passing drug tests, the flushing was just a side effect

3 is true. Sadly I do have PTSD from a few situations with shitty people
