I actually just finished this last episode (Superfun Land) and it was just too fucking goofy. It had some OK parts, but not up to par with some of their more recent stuff. The rest of this last season had solid episodes more often than not. I think liberals stopped watching after their material skewed a little conservative. I still think that a lot of people really don't get the show, me being one of them. That's one of the reasons I keep watching.

The highlight of that episode was when Jimmy stutters, "Yeah, we g-g-g-g-gotta get the h-h-hell outta here f-faa-fast." Other than that I didn't really laugh at anything else.

This is pretty far off the mark.

You seem to be suggesting that South Park is mindless humour. I just can't agree with this.

You seem to have become caught up with simple appearances rather than the substance that exists within.

Well I'm I guess I'm still only on season 10. As I don't watch TV these days, I see them on the DVDs.

What sucked about it?
 
^It was a little overworked this week. Not a great episode, but most have been really good. Don't listen to the few haters. It seems as though people are losing their senses of humor. If we let that happen, we'll be just like the Middle East.
 
meh south park has definetly gone downhill..
for anyone who likes south park for its true humor and real life related sarcasm, it is nothing compared to the older season.
trey and matt have given up :(
 
i'm not ready to say that the show has gone downhill just cuz of a couple weak episodes though. we'll see how the rest of the season pans out before I start making any sweeping judgments
 
about half of the recent run of new ones have been utterly hilarious (the stand and deliver one, this past one with the historical park, the canada on strike one), while the other half have been some of the worst ones ever (the britney one, the no internet one).
 
south park has gotten dumber, but it's intentional. there are usually underlying meanings in every ep.

not so much the latest episode, but the HIV eipisode is a good reference.
they were saying how HIV and AIDs has been put on the back burner.


hell, southpark began as just a random show about whatever.
the first season or two should be evidence.
 
there have definitely been a couple bad episodes this season, but overall i think its still hilarious. compare the latest few seasons to the first few and tell me its going downhill.

Last season was freakin fantastic. This season is well below standard.

We can only hope that it gets better. Remember when the Simpsons slid further and further into mediocrity and now look at it. Groening needs to be raped in the arse for turning it, or allowing it to be turned into such a steaming pile of shit.

The most recent episodes haven't been as consistently good as season 11 but there is no way you can call them bad.

I thought the internet episode was absolute gold! Its funny cos its true!
 
We have to learn that cheesing just isnt worth it. Sure, you get to fight in the breastuary and swim in the fountains of varnoff with the itty titty fairys of mammary mountain. And then you fight the boob goblin in the gazongas cave and then the girl may thank you for it... but she isnt real.
