FUTURAMA rocks!! Most randomness shit there is..
Dr. Zoidberg is hilarious...the episode where he goes back to his home planet to mate is funni.

Tried to get season 4 on dvd the last few days from JB-Hi as they have it on sale...But their all sold out!! from all their stores...bugger!!
 
Just saw one of the funniest episodes ever. Fry gets commited to a robot mental institution and after a while starts to think that he is a robot. While the normal characters weren't that good all these newbies in the institution were so funny.

"Move back, I need to practice me stabbing...stabby, stab, stab"

I must have got one of the last series 4 box sets from JB-Hi Fi. Lucky me, only $33 for one of the funniest cartoons ever written.
I like the 'stab stab robot' he pops up in heaps of episodes and i think Zap Branigan is a classic.
I find it very hard to pick the best episode cause their all sooooo gooood.
 
"bender shouldn't be on tv" is the best episode i can remember at the moment.
 
I really never use dto be so into the show, but the more I have watched it the more I like it and fully appreciate the hilarity.
Too bad it's on the same time as the daily show.
The Daily Show > Futurama.
 
Probably my favorite show if I could see it more often.

My fav episode is when the robot is God and hes floating in outer space. Actually, he gets lost in outer space and THEN turns into his own God. Thats when ppl start growing on his belly and they split up into sides and start ICBM'ing eachother. The shows pretty tight. The best from adult swim atleast

The episode where Leela gets stung by the giant space wasps and falls into a coma scare the shit out of me.
The whole hallucinatory "fry trying to wake her up from inside her head but her having no idea how" is a place I have been a couple of times when fucking out.
 
After I finished the last episode of the fifth season i went into a week long depression, seriously. I cant watch family guy or simpsons anymore, Futurama for all!!!

When the hungry team lands on a planet and starts eating another form of life and starts selling it. i think it's called 'the problem with popplers'. funniest shit i've seen in a while.

I love Futurama so much more than the simpsons. The simpsons is such a witty social commentary, but I love the way Futurama mocks the whole of modern culture. There also seem to be a lot more under the surface jokes in Futurama (Jokes that you pick up on the seond or third viewing) than in the simpsons.

Zoidberg is definately my favourite character... He grows on you...

Although Futurama was consistantly funny, I don't think it reached the levels of hilarity The Simpsons achieved. .... Then again maybe the shit Simpsons seasons make the good seem that much better.... hmm

But they've bot had excellent social commentary. Sometime so blunt that they're easily missed.

My older brother (a bigger Futurama fan than me) said he heard that due to the high season boxed set sales, Fox have decided to make more Futurama!!!!

can anyone confirm?
 
Nothing on Fox's site... no locatable sources... I'm inclined to think that your brother heard that Family Guy was brought back from cancellation thanks to huge DVD sales and crazy ratings on the Comedy Channel, and he got the name wrong.

Family Guy remains the only show ever brought back from cancellation.

New episode, Sunday, May 1!
