Top 5 electronic producers

Not sure if he's been mentioned yet, but Robert Babicz (aka rob acid). This man is an electronic music genious!! Hell, you can even get your own productions mastered by him.

No one else comes close in my books.
 
Autechre!i'm seeing them in Melbourne on the 29th of this month! can't wait... will be candy-flipping for sure. i wanted to do DMT but have never used it with inhibitors before, and didn't want an Autechre gig to be the first lol

i can't believe nobody has mentioned Aeroplane. their production and remixes are top noch and they absolutely kill it behind the decks. they are quickly becoming one of the top dj/producer duos in the world.

check these guys out if you get the chance, you won't regret it. i sure as hell didn't!

I have decided to make a change to my top 5 electronic producers! I must apologise to Anthony Rother - you've released some great tracks over the years (as well as some absolutely terrible ones), but I'm afraid you're just not quite as good as the new entry into my chart - Circulation :)


My new top 5 is:

Gabriel & Dresden

They are pretty much minimal-techno oriented, except for Gabriel & Dresden, plus they broke up as a producer duo two years ago.
 
1. Boards of Canada...they always blow me away
2. Squarepusher
3. Aphex Twin
4. Death in Vegas
5. Freescha...relatively unknown but genius nonetheless.


oh and a 6. could well be the Future Sound of London =D
 
This is not an easy choice to make! However after much deliberation over Sunday roast and a pint of strongbow I have come up with this:

4. Fatboy slim
5. Chicane (have you seen the thread I started lol)
