James Holden surely is an out-of-this-world-DJ, but i really wouldn't call him one of the best producers, allthough he did some nice work in the studio. but imo DJing is his real thing.

when it comes to Border Community releases, i prefer Fairmont or Nathan Fake.

Well, since being a goa/psytrance head my list will obviously focus on those producers (besides Pete Namlook). I actually have only four in mind that really stand out.

1. Simon Posford (Hallucinogen, Shpongle, Younger Brother and many others) - The best producer of psychedelic electronic music. Ever. Whatever he does, it's magic.
2. OTT - The master of psychedelic dub
3. Cosmosis - Just keeps producing great stuff after all the years. Every record is brilliant.
4. Pete Namlook - The master of ambient. No other artist makes such dreamy and meditative albums.
