Today I am thankful for...

Right now I am thankful for all of the excellent advice I have been given regarding the new meds the dr put me on, I had an inkling wasn't right, and it has now been confirmed.

If I had taken the new meds I think I quite possibly would be dead or brain damaged beyond repair right now.

So thank you to all of the amazingly brilliant, intelligent and compassionate people that are not getting pissed off with my constant questions and disjointed messages.

BL has saved a life tonight and I will be eternally grateful to you all

I am thankful for my husband. He is a very brave man with a sense of humor that never quits.

Humour is the key.

My dr gave me bupe saying it was sublingual fentanyl and it would have sent me into acute withdrawal from all mymother meds and probably have given me a heart attack, I already over produce adrenal as it is, like I need more.

So yeh very glad i wait 9 hours to find out even though I desperately wanted relief something was niggling about it being a partial atangonist.

Scared isn't quite a strong enough word lol.

I am thankful for Jesus who watches over me and protects me. I am also thankful for my husband who cares for me. I love the men in my life :)
 
Thankfull today for the chance to GTFO of this shithole for 24 hrs, even though the destination aint great, it aint here and ive been stuck here for far too long!!
 
Am thankful that the small gift that has no monetary value at all that I sent to a good friend is appreciated. It was just a stone from my hometown beach, but it is more than that, was a gratitude rock.

I told her the meaning after I gave the gift and I'm grateful that she keeps the rock with her wherever she goes and that it means a lot to her because of the meaning of it. :) I'm holding my own gratitude rock as I make this post, as this is what I am grateful for. That someone that I care about is grateful too :)
 
Today I am thankful for a clear head. And finally realizing that all along I was the only one with the ability to stop the garbage from going into and coming out of my life. I'm also thankful for that warm safe place in my imagination that isn't chemically induced - for once.
 
today i am thankful for my dr giving me a medication that is helping with the overproduction of adrenal and also for my solicitor is going to get me the meds i need once they insurance company has been bollocked by a judge!!! now just got to wait a good 6-8 weeks
 
im thankful to wake up today and be back home with my family, and my body be totally opiate free. im a normie again!!! im clean for the first time in 4-5 year from dope AND methadone. This is insanity must be a dream

Today, I'm thankful for delicious vegan cuisine, and the opportunity to share it with a couple of good friends.
 
I made myself come in here today to say, in spite of my husband's diagnosis, in spite of the tremendous fear for my son, I was thankful for many, many little things. So I will pick just one and then go hunt up Keaton's thread where you get to list 10!:)

Today I was thankful knitting. Very therapeutic and you get hats out of it to boot!
